Xavier had watched Roselyn carefully make her way to the corner of the room. Her back faced the others as she slipped off her leather jacket, peeling off her blood-soaked top. He had just watched her, distantly, as if she just wanted privacy. But when she looked over her shoulder with glossy eyes, he moved over with the first aid kit.

She kept her back towards Tyler and the rest of the room, letting only the blonde see the damage to her torso. With a shaky breath, he averted his gaze from her chest to see the three jagged lines from her hipbone to just below her belly button.

"I didn't bring any of my crystals, and I can't focus enough to perform a healing spell," she mumbled against her palm as she looked back to him. "Is there any antiseptic in there?" She nudged her head towards the first aid kit in his hands.

He wordlessly looked down at her before kneeling before her torso. "Jeez, Ros," he sighed, grappling for the antiseptic and some cotton pads. "This is gonna hurt a ton. You ready?" He whispered, looking up at her.

"I'm a big girl," she tried to joke, shortly huffing a breath before covering her mouth with a hand. "Do it."

He tried to be so gentle, but it stung like a bitch. She couldn't help the whimpers bubble up in her throat, her eyes squeezing shut. She moved her unoccupied hand towards his shoulder, trying not to hurt him as she grasped for him.

"Okay, okay it's done. I'm going to wrap this bandage around you now, okay?" He reassured her, his thumb lightly stroking her uninjured hip. She nodded, practically over it all by now.

"Ugh this is embarrassing," she muttered to him as she placed gauze around her arm as he aided. "Not only did I get a slashing, your first time seeing me half naked has to be in this state." She tutted in annoyance. He finished tying a knot around her hipbone, looking up at her with furrowed brows.

"Well, we'll just have to make up for it next time," he softly retorted, gently lowering his mouth to her bandaged stomach as he kept eye contact. She watched him with such soft eyes as he kissed her injured spot, moving a hand to his hair as he moved to stand up.

"You're too soft," she muttered teasingly as they both went to going the others, the witch slipping her clothes back on. "Thank you."

"Not to make this about me, but I am having a full-blown panic attack right now," Enid shrilled out, Roselyn looking over at her with sympathy.

"We need to get back before Weems realises we've been gone." No, the smart thing to do is realise you got people, your friends caught in the crossfire. But, Weems is of course the priority.

The door swung open, all eyes shooting over to see the livid figure of the Sheriff. "What the hell happened?" He looked down at Wednesday with such hostility, "This was you, wasn't it?"

That is how Roselyn found herself escorted onto the Nevermore grounds that night. Wednesday's complete lack of care on the safety of her friends, especially when she dragged them into such danger threw a fork in the road. She lost so much respect for the girl, finding herself helping Enid pack a bag to go to Yoko's dorm. She couldn't stop the tears flooding her view as she realised that all the effort, all of the bridge building was pointless. She could let bygones be bygones, but the effort stopped then and there.
