Inevitably, it was the final night that Nevermore academy would be accommodating students for the rest of term. Roselyn and her girl friends had been escorted to their rooms, to pack up their stuff and prepare to leave the following morning. Yet, sat there on her bed with her friends, Roselyn had a bitter feeling. It was the calm after the storm, or perhaps it was only her perspective as she waded in the eye of it. The colossal pressure of the past twenty-four hours had wore her out endlessly. But she couldn't just sleep. And neither could her roommates.

"This is our final night here this term, it feels too weird," the witch muttered from her bed. Jiji had taken up most of her single bed, and her hefty suitcases lay against her pillows. "It just feels so surreal. Like this is just some dystopian movie I wanna wake up from."

Enid shuffled away from her spot across the room. "I feel like I've gained more trauma in the past weeks here than the past five years of my life," she huffed, frown ever-present. "I'm going to be sending Nevermore the invoice for the therapy I'll have to get."

Wednesday was silent, just staring at Enid with an unrecognisable expression on her face. Roselyn moved over to hug the blondie. "Well, as our final night as roomies for the term, you know what we should do?" Roselyn whispered, watery smile etched onto her face. "Sneak into the kitchens and make some hot chocolate? Be bad for once?"

This made Enid smile, trying to forget her traumatic night. "Oh, you remembered my roomie bucket list!" She looked over at Wednesday, a hopeful glint in her eye. "Are you game for a hot drink, Wednesday?"

Surprisingly, the goth girl moved from her bed, meeting the duo by the doorway. "I am rather parched," she noted, looking at Enid with such a tiny smirk. Roselyn smiled at her.

Roselyn scrunched her lips together, trying to suppress her excited smile. "Let's go."

Tiptoeing into the kitchens, Roselyn found a pot and some milk. All the girls huddled together in their pyjamas, waiting for the milk to heat up. Roselyn missed her slippers in that moment, the icy juxtaposition of the stone floors and her warm feet made her bounce around. Trawling through the cupboards, Roselyn let out a squeal of joy.

"Cocoa powder... and some cooking chocolate!" She whispered at the shocked Addams girl. She bounded over to them, asking Enid to find some mugs as she gently dropped a block of dark chocolate into the pot, stirring the mixture as steam billowed out.

As Enid wandered away to find some mugs, Wednesday looked at the brunette. She observed her for a minute, looking at the distantly peaceful face she was putting on, and how her loose chestnut locks danced as she swayed to an imaginable beat. "I am sorry about wrongly accusing you, Roselyn."

The brunette paused her movement, looking at Wednesday with shock in her green eyes. She looked back at the milk, biting at her inner cheek before sighing. "Wednesday..." she looked back up at her, "You didn't even want to know me yet you made such horrid accusations," she titled her head with pain in her features. "You seemed to run with some fantasy that nobody can see, and it really hurt me to be painted as a villain in this story."
