*Tyler's POV*
"Woo!!!" All of us chanted. I can't believe we are finally done with training. It seemed like a lot of time and effort but we finally made it. At least now both the pack and the initiates are sure of our loyalty to them because of all we have endured. I may have been saddened by leaving my last pack, but I couldn't have been more proud to be a part of such a loving pack. I didn't realize how strong the love was until I was bonded. Everyone seems to care a lot about each other! At first, it was slightly overwhelming to hear so many voices when you are used to only hearing two, including myself. But it was so cool to hear all the different conversations going on!
'Oh yeah! Party at my tent tonight!!! I brought the alcohol!' one wolf said.
'Dude, really? Don't you think it's kind of late for that? Plus, I'm sure the initiates are tired, Colt.' Another wolf responded.
'Oh, come on. Parties always make me feel better! Don't be a party-pooper, Levi!' Colt responded.
'Hey man, You know I'm always up for a good party!' a wolf responded.
'Yeah, me too! You know I'm down!' another wolf joined in.
'See you guys in my tent then!' Colt exclaimed.
I laughed to myself, 'This is awesome!'
'You bet it is man! Welcome to the pack, Tyler!' Colt responded.
Man, I'll have to get used to so many people being able to hear my thoughts..
'Thank you! I may stop by later once I feel adjusted.' I replied.
'Yeah, of course. Stop by whenever. We'll be partying all night!'
I was distracted by all the new thoughts I was hearing that I didn't notice that Josh wasn't next to me anymore. I quickly snapped back to reality.
'Josh?' I questioned. I quickly sorted through the thoughts to find Josh but he was quiet and his bond seemed weak.
"Josh where are you?" I questioned aloud. I looked around until I saw a very weak Josh trailing behind. I was going to walk over to him when I saw him collapse to the ground.
"Josh!! Hang on buddy!" I pushed my way through the crowd, rushed to his side and hoisted him up. He seemed to be losing consciousness fast. I placed his arm around my shoulder as I tried to walk him but it was no use. He was hardly moving his legs.
"Are you ok?" I asked concerned.
He then shut his eyes and went limp.
"I need some help!!" I called out.
Alpha Jordan heard me yell and quickly ran towards me along with a few other guys in the pack. Alpha Jordan quickly looked over Josh's now limp body.
"What happened?"
I shook my head, " I'm not sure. He just collapsed and I ran over to pick him up and he passed out."
"Well, we need to get him to the pack hospital fast." He stated as he and the other guys picked him up.
"Tyler, run ahead and inform the healer that we are on our way."
"Ok." I stated.
I tried not to be too worried, but in all my life, I have ever seen Josh like this. I cleared my mind of all concerns. I just had to focus on the task at hand and get to the pack hospital as fast as I could. Besides, healers typically have the ability to regenerate a werewolves health quickly, even though werewolves already heal a lot quicker than humans would. I shouldn't worry so much. I quickly shifted and took off running.
