*Josh POV*

As the moments passed, we slowly managed to condense the wolves to one area. But, to be honest, it didn't really seem like we were making much progress. On top of the fact that our tactics were hardly helpful, I could tell everyone was starting to get exhausted. Even my own muscles were starting to burn despite my efforts to push through.

Jake, Nicole, and colt were still inside the building and I could only hope they were close to finding Selena and Amy. But at this rate, I knew we couldn't possibly hold out much longer.

What are are we going to do?

Not long after that thought crossed my mind did something unusual happen. All the wolves suddenly stopped fighting at the same time.

'What's going on?' Tyler questioned.

As if in response to our confusion, all the wolves suddenly retreated back into the woods.

'Okay... that's weird right?' Levi looked to me, but I had no answers to give.

However, our conversation was quickly halted by the sound of Nathan's voice.

"He's here."

Although everyone took defensive positions, we couldn't see Aaron anywhere in the area. As we were all starting to doubt, we heard a voice reverberate across the field.

"Ah, I was starting to wonder if you'd ever show up," he mocked.

Before our eyes, Aaron appeared a few feet in the air in front of us.

"But, it's good to see you out of the hospital Josh," a sickening smile crept across his face until his eyes fell on Nathan.

"And, I see my brother is with you," his voice significantly dropped.

Looking back and forth from Aaron to Nathan, it was clear there was a slight air of disappointment mixed with sadness.

Turning back to me, Aaron continued, "But, this is a fight between you and me, Josh."

Without even moving an inch, Aaron somehow managed to cause Tyler, Anton, and Levi to collapse to the ground.

'What did you do to them, Aaron!' I growled.

Without attempting to answer me, he crept closer and closer towards us.

"Josh!" Nathan shouted, "It's now or never!"

Seconds slowly began to tick away.

I... guess I don't have a choice now.

Looking to Nathan, I nodded.

'Now.'
