Levi's POV

Within 7 years, Hanji and I were married. Our son was turning 8 with our daughter turning 6. Hanji has been begging for more children, and I finally gave in to her demands. In 2 months, our new baby boy will be born. She's already picking names that she wants to give to our new son. Then she was murmuring about having another baby after him. Jeez, I don't think I can keep up with this. But if that's what Hanji wants, I won't turn her down. That's our family...

Every morning when I wake up, our children find themselves in our beds, trying to convince us to stay. Well, mainly me. With Hanji's pregnancy, she's been staying home lately while I worked in her stead. They begged me to stay home.

"Not today," I'll say to them, kissing them before getting dressed. "Maybe next time."

"But I don't wanna go to school," they would groan, whining and begging. As much as Hanji wanted to follow their demands, I took them to school, leaving Hanji home with our unborn son.

When I came home that night, the children had chocolate smeared all over their clothes. Based on the smell, they were making brownies. They started to shout about their day at school, and Hanji's little surprise. As usual, I made dinner for everyone. Although Hanji needs to take her long, deserved rest, we played a few video games together. I didn't let the kids win. Hanji scolded me for doing so, but that's one of the only times I don't listen to her.

Peace. Happiness. A family. All that is coming true. This... this is the day that we have both been yearning for. Zayne's happy with his siblings. I'm happy with my family still living. Hanji's happy to have all of us in her life. I'm glad too. To think the games we played would lead up to this... I can't believe it. I will never let go.

"Daddy," Raven giggles, pointing at me, "Story time!"

"Story time? Right now? I thought you guys were going to eat Mommy's brownies?"

"We are!"

As Hanji made their bowls of ice cream and brownies, I distracted the kids with a few stories. They loved it when I read their favorite stories, especially when they go to sleep. I don't remember much about when I was little, but I remembered that I loved my mom reading books to me too. I guess that shows that these kids are mine.

One day...

That day has come. I'm glad I'm here with them... and I'll fulfill any promises that need to be fulfilled. No promise will ever go broken.
