Chap 3 (Crimson)

I watched all of them battle, disappearing right before i got caught. Shadow seemed confused by what i told him. I would go down to help but i hate to interfere with all the fun. I watch them gather to battle that robot. Metal Sonic.

I guess they are about to fight since they pulled out the Chaos Emeralds. I sat near by to watch.

They got into position. Shadow and the others distracted the monster while Sonic, Tails and Knuckles work a miracle. But so far, their attacks just made it angrier. It left the scene and i flew after it.

Sonic went super and he followed along with the other two. I watched them battle and of course Sonic won.

As they were about to leave, i stopped them from doing so.

"Who are you?!" Sonic said. I looked at him then rolled my eyes.

I walked over to Rouge and Shadow. They looked at me with confused faces. "Something wrong?" I asked them.

"How do you know who we are?" Rouge asked.

"I do this little thing called spying." I said.

"For who?" Shadow said, narrowing his eyes.

"For myself." I said. "I'm not the type to work for anyone but myself."

"Why?" Asked Rouge.

"Reasons." I said shrugging. "By the way, Rouge, there's a few things GUN wants you to check out. Shadow, Omega, i strongly suggest you to hide from them until the Black Comet arrives."

"Why?" He said. "Oh wait, don't tell me. Reasons?"

"Because GUN has been after you for 50 years." I said glaring.

Now, he was frowning. I could see that he had a bunch of emotions mixed up in his eyes. "You want answers? You can find them all on the ARK and the Black Comet."

"If the humans really see me that way, why help me?" He asked.

"Because you're not a weapon. You're a living being. You don't deserve everything that happened in those 50 years." I said looking away.

"How do you know so much about me? Did i... Know you?" He asked, hesitating a bit.

"Maybe. Maybe not." I said. "I'll see you when the Black Comet arrives." And i disappeared in plain sight.
