I finished the project on Mr Kim's new cafe so I made the decision to drag myself to the cafe. My heart raced a thousand times faster at the thought of seeing two specific people. Yes, Channie made a decision on working part-time at the cafe, and so did Hyunjin as he so wanted to see a girl in particular.

As I approached the full cafe, the bustling atmosphere filled the whole of it. I spot Chaeyoung by the front door wiping a table nearby. The bell of the door rings informing the whole store someone has come in. Suddenly, all the attention goes to me.

"You're finally here! I've been so lonely without your presence." Chaeyoung dashes towards me, but when she realizes she's holding a dirty cloth, she hits her brakes preventing the fabric from touching my clothes.

"Am I not good enough for you?" A jealous Hyunjin stands behind the girl with crossed arms.

"Shut up. I have my priorities." The boy gives me a side-eye. I shrug in return. "Oh and I got a little something for you baby." Chaeyoung hands me a little box taken out of her apron pocket. I'm sure has some sort of jewellery inside.

"Spoiling me with gifts again?"

"If it makes your day, then anything is worth it."

"Anyways, it's nice to have you back. We are out of hand." Hyunjin says empty-handed.

"Says the person who only worked here because of their soulmate." I roll my eyes at the sarcastic boy.

"Oh please, you and Jeongin gotta get things right. I'm tired of hearing 'I miss her' all the time." Those words slipped out of his mouth like it was nothing. I stood still feeling the guilt rush in again.

"Did you finish the project?" Chaeyoung's voice brought me back to reality. I looked down at the pile of paper in my hand.

"Yeah, that's why I'm here." I quickly walk away so neither of them could ask any more questions.

I need to stop avoiding the topic of Jeongin.

I got to the kitchen where Mr. Kim would usually be at. But unfortunately, he wasn't here today. I stared at the reflection of Channie who was the only one in the kitchen. He wiped a few cups and made his way out when I blocked him from doing so.

"Oh, Seoyeon! You're back." Channie wraps his arms around me, exactly like what Chaeyoung did. I miss his hugs. Channie let's go after a while.

"I'm actually here to submit some homework to Mr Kim." I held up the stack of paper from my hand. The boy takes them and reads through the information.

"The new cafe? This is amazing. You sure made the right decision in studying interior." He gives me a thumbs up.

"It's nothing, did my best." I sheepishly said.

"Oh please, it couldn't be any better. Anyways, perhaps you can lend a helping hand?" Channie asked handing me my apron.

I snatch the apron away and put it around my head. "Have nothing better to do anyways."

The boy shows his dimples and heads out to serve the customers. I stare at the spotless kitchen thinking to myself, what would we do if we didn't have Channie? I, as well, go outside finding nothing to do in the kitchen. I grabbed a towel and placed a pen and paper in my apron pocket before helping Hyunjin with the messy tables.

I approached a table which sat a boy in a baseball hat. My eyebrows furrowed at the familiar figure in front of me. The boy looks up to meet my eyes. He darts a smile at me, a warm smile I've never seen in years.

"Oppa!"

My brother, Eunjae, gestures to me to the seat next to him. I immediately dart over ignoring the stares in the cafe.
