Seungmin pov

I noticed how Jeongin was getting more anxious for a while now. His gaze kept going back and forth on his screen. We all know how worried sick Jeongin can be and it pained me to think that he didn't have much to eat when Seoyeon was in hospital. Too many unfortunate things have happened but it was almost impossible to find out who had it planned since day one. When we approached the police, they only told us that they weren't able to conduct an investigation since there was not enough evidence.

I place my arm over the younger's shoulder, using this gesture to look through his memories.

Seoyeon❤️

Are you home now?
Is everything okay?
You haven't replied in an hour

Tragic. This has happened before. It's impossible to convince Jeongin that everything is fine due to his stubborn self, and it's not like I could look into her memories as well. I sighed in disappointment, feeling helpless. Just then, I was interrupted by a flash of pictures that took me by surprise.

"Come. Find her if you can."

I gasped at the sudden voice in my head. I saw photos like memories but couldn't comprehend what they were. I thought they only happened in movies.

The voice I didn't recognise, but there Seoyeon was, lying on the cold ground, a blood bath surrounding her, a sharp knife pierced right through her stomach. She had a hand on the knife handle, the pain on her stomach making it impossible for her to breathe.

She was still alive. However, it wouldn't take long till she took her last breath. My legs weakened at an instant, making me fall to the ground. I was trembling uncontrollably. It all seemed a bit too real.

"W-what was t-that?" I mumbled as Chan rushed toward me.

"Seungmin ah, are you okay?" Chan asked in concern.

I kept my head low, trying to connect the pieces together. Dark alleyway, bar, vinyl player store. There was only one vinyl player store that constantly looped the same classical music in the background.

"Seungmin?" Ashley crouches down in front of me, "what's wrong?"

"Seoyeon," I said before removing my apron. I swung the doors of the cafe open and rushed outside at 7:47pm, leaving the others dumbfounded.

I turned my head around to the mention of Seoyeon's name. I watched at Seungmin hurriedly ran out of the cafe, seeming like he had to take care of something important. I swiftly followed his footsteps, leaving the cafe in the hands of the 5 others.

I had a really bad feeling when I spotted Seungmin look at all directions with panic in his eyes.

"Seungmin ah," I called out, tightly holding his wrist to make him stay in place.

"That vinyl player store, where is it!?" the boy stuttered.

"It's nearby. Follow me," Minho said from behind.

The two of us ran with Minho at front. I soon was able to hear that same music coming from the vinyl player store. I prayed and prayed for nothing serious as the three of us headed deeper into the dark alleyway.

I halted my steps when an awfully familiar scene came in sight. My memories from 2 weeks ago flashed into my mind. There she was, Seoyeon was lying on the cold floor in a blood bath, her hair, clothes all drained in red, she was breathing less and less each passing second. I rushed to her side, using the strength I had to hold her up.

"Seoyeon ah," I sobbed, my tears landing on her soft skin. I held her close and squeezed her delicate hand.

I swear my life was meant to be ruined.

I slowly opened my eyes, I had been lifted up from my laying position earlier on before I blacked out for the third time today. Differently, my sight had blurred up so much I couldn't tell whose face it was. The boy's weeping voice and his soft touch strangely comforted me despite being on my last string of life. I had already long forgotten the pain on my stomach, I knew I didn't have much time left.

Just as I wanted to close my eyes due to the tiredness I was feeling, a flash of yellow light woke me up like caffeine. Suddenly, all the blurriness had disappeared into thin air, his face became crystal clear. Jeongin's bumblebee eyes were filled with endless tears flowing down his face, the guilt and regret in them evident than ever.

I used my free hand to reach for his face, stroking his cheek with my thumb with his hand over mine. I gathered all of my strength to mutter the words out.

"I'm so happy to have met you. I'm sorry I have to leave you so soon," I told him. He shook his head in denial, leaning his head forward so our foreheads touch.

"No. You are not leaving," Innie cried, giving me a soft kiss on my tear covered cheek.

"Run...run away..." I whispered in his ear.

He's coming for you

A/N: heyy, I'm awfully sorry for the no update for months. Please forgive me😔 Also, I'm keeping this chapter short cause we don't like the sadness to last for too long (totally not cause I have no clue how to write sad stuff). Anyways, hope you enjoyed reading this ff so far ♥♥
