28: Tsk Bokkie my ass!

"No way! Did you really do that?" Jisung asked, tying his tie hurriedly. "You weren't dreaming right?"

"No! I wasn't, Jisung. I did see Jinyoung with my own eyes. He came here with his sick cat and he fucking waved his hands when he saw me." Jisung heard Hyunjin saying and chuckled. He shook his head and turned the speaker mode off.

"Wow, it seems like your high school crush remembers you," Jisung uttered, closing the door behind him.

"Yeah, it looks like that." Jisung shook his head, hearing Hyunjin's dreamy voice. "Come to earth, Hyunjin."

"Oii stop being nosy, Jisung." Jisung laughed as entered the kitchen and started preparing breakfast for both him and Minho.

He frowned upon not seeing the older. Usually, Minho would be the first one to get up and to be seen in the hall, tapping or calling, but today it was awfully quiet.

"Hey Hyunjin? I will call you later, okay?"

"Oh? Okay!" Jisung placed the phone down and shook his head, thinking the older must be asleep. He took two plates and decorated them with an omelet, sticky rice, and semi-spicy grilled chicken since he knew Minho was intolerant to spicy food.

He started digging in, but the silence was killing him. Minho was a person who talked non-stop during meal times. So it felt a bit weird not hearing the blabbering.

He stood up and decided to wake his husband from their sweet dreamy land.

He knocked on the door and waited for a response, but nothing came. Jisung knocked once again but this time a bit harder. A sense of trepidation passed through his mind and he decided to enter the room through their connected restroom.

When he entered Minho's room he saw the other curled up in the bed. Jisung sat on the edge and saw Minho frowning in his sleep. Jisung placed his cheek over Minho's forehead and sighed when he confirmed that the latter was cold-free.

He patted Minho softly, "Hey, old man." He called almost in a whisper and saw Minho opening his dark hazel eyes softly, the frown still evident.

"What?" Minho mumbled, curling further.

"Aren't you planning to go to the office today?" Minho shook his head.

"I am not feeling well."

"What happened?" Minho avoided Jisung's eyes and groaned in embarrassment.

"Stomach pain." If Jisung wasn't attentive he would have missed what Minho said. Jisung thought for a moment and suddenly realisation hit him.

Minho must be having a digestion problem from the spicy food.

Guilt started expanding his heart as he was the one who made Minho eat all the spicy food even when the latter said he couldn't.

"Ah, okay. Then take a rest for today. I will be right back." Jisung stood up ready to leave, but a hand stopped him from going. Jisung looked up to see Minho looking at him.

"Stay." It wasn't an order, but a plea like he didn't want Jisung to leave him alone, fearing his husband wouldn't be back. Jisung smiled internally, understanding Minho. Jisung also gets a lot clingy when he gets sick.

"I'm not going anywhere. I'm just going to change my dress into something comfortable." That's when Minho noticed Jisung's appearance, so he nodded, letting Jisung's hands from his.

Nodding, Jisung left the room. On his way to his room, Jisung called Felix and told him to buy some ice cream and some starchy food while sending him the villa address. Jisung then called and informed the villa guard about Felix's arrival.
