55: Celebration.

"Sir?" Minho hummed, absent mindly twirling the resin ball on the table, a small smile playing over his lips as he remembered the day he spent lavishly with his husband.

He lightly blushed remembering a wrecked Jisung under him, panting and sweating with the naughty activities they did together a few days ago.

"Sir!"

"What!?" His secretary looked at him like he had grown two heads, making Minho aware of his surroundings. Minho straightened up coughing a bit to hide his embarrassment. "Sorry, what were you saying?"

"The MNB group's show interview was rescheduled due to your missing case, so when should we schedule it?" His secretary asked, handing the rough files which Minho took in his hands, and started circling some dates, and rescheduled it, giving it back to his secretary who checked it making sure nothing was overlapping.

The secretary nodded, satisfied. "Sir, a reminder to your upcoming schedule and meeting. You will be having a business party at..." The secretary continued listing out Minho's schedule but all this time Minho was only thinking about Jisung who finally received his flight ticket to America for his exam.

The news was a bit saddeding for Minho because he finally confessed his feelings out and was having the time of his life with his lover, but now he has to let Jisung go.

However, Minho learned from his past mistakes therefore he wanted Jisung to chase after his dreams and Minho didn't want himself to be an obstacle for the younger.

But how can he when Jisung was showering him with love and affection?

Jisung was a lot clinger than he thought. Was it because he was Jisung's first love? Surely, Minho did have many relationships but they didn't last longer than six months and he never took them seriously as for a fact that he knew they approached him for what he had.

"So that's all." Minho snapped out of his thoughts hearing his secretary's voice and nodded. He then looked at the digital clock and saw it was already twenty past eleven.

" Let's call it a night." The secretary let out a sigh in relief and stood up.

"By the way, Sir?" Minho looked up watching his secretary smile.

"Happy Birthday," Minho stared at his secretary in surprise. "Birthday? What day is it?"

"December 30." Minho immediately took his phone out and to his surprise it was indeed his birthday. He immediately skimmed through his message and saw messages from banks, his fans and news about his birthday but there was none from his family especially Jisung which made his mood to drop.

Sighing he stood up, giving out a small smile to his secretary. "Thank you for the wishes. Have a nice drive."

"You too, Sir." Minho nodded, leaving the office and took the elevator - reaching the parking lot - and saw the driver waiting for him.

"Happy Birthday, Mr.Minho." Minho smiled, saying a word of gratitude to the old man, who had been working as a driver for him for the past twenty years.

The way back to his and Jisung's shared home was making his heart feel heavy. He would occasionally look at his phone waiting for a message but there was none.

Many questions started arising in his mind. It's not like he wasn't remembered of course he was because his images being posted over the big screen shows the world do remember his birthday, but the only people he wanted to hear it from and was meaningful was from his family.

Even the security uncle of the villa greeted him with a birthday wish. Minho forcefully smiled, feeling his heart break into pieces.

Sighing, he walked towards his home and started typing the password to open the door. After a few seconds the door opened and he got in and noticed it was dark inside. He saw lights on the kitchen area, so he took his steps towards there and saw Jisung standing by the counter, drinking water.
