2: Is marriage important?

"Aww, my baby!" A beautiful woman in their late forties exclaimed cheerfully, running towards the young man and pulling him into a tight hug making him groan.

"Mom! Stop doing this. I'm not a baby!" Jisung groaned again when his mom tightly hugged him, ignoring his words.

"Yah! Leave my son," Jisung got pulled away from his mother and was now embraced in an even more deadly gripped hug.

"Oh, my God! Is this my last day!?" Jisung exclaimed only to get hit on his arms, "Ouch." He rubbed his arms, glaring at his grinning parents, "Why did you guys do that!?"

His mother shrugged her shoulders while his dad looked away whistling. Jisung shook his head thinking who exactly are the parents.

"Let's get inside, shall we?" Mr.Han said, gesturing for the maid to take Jisung's bag.

Mrs.Han grasped Jisung's hand and ran inside the mansion. Mr.Han shook his head watching his son screaming and telling his mother to run slow.

Time surely went fast, huh?

When he entered the hall, he saw Mrs.Han pinching a very annoyed Jisung's cheeks like he was a small kid. Well for Mr.Han it's still hard to believe that their Jisung was a working man now.

Only if we got the chance to see his growth.

"Mom! I wanna take a shower. Leave my cheeks alone, it hurts!" The parents laughed as Mr.Han sat beside his family.

"How was your journey, Jisung?" Jisung glanced at his father and muttered a 'fine'.

"I see, okay then. Take a shower and rest well. I will call you when the dinner is ready." Jisung nodded leaving the hall, tiredly. Mrs.Han looked closely at the disappearing figure of her son and immediately snapped her head at Mr.Han who panicked.

"Is your neck okay-"

"How are we supposed to tell him about that!" Mrs.Han exclaimed, biting her nails anxiously. Mr.Han shook his head and placed his hand over his wife's shoulder.

"Don't worry. You just have to promote it while I will do the rest," Mrs.Han nodded as she grabbed his hands, "I don't know whether he is ready for this. We just got him close to us." She glanced at her husband's face.

"I don't want him to hate on us, again."

"Let's hope for the best."

"Wow! It's so tasty, Ma!" Jisung exclaimed, moaning a bit at the addicting taste. His mom never failed to amaze him with her delicious food.

"Eat as much as you want, bub." She replied, placing a hand against her face as she watched her son with adoration.

As a mother, it's hard for her to believe that her one and only son was all grown up now to be a handsome man.

She always felt guilty for not being there in his childhood days and as a mother, she still felt ashamed to say that she wasn't there to play with him, to know him, and shower him with affection.

She as well as her husband, both regretted abandoning Jisung to chase after their desires.

When they realised it, it was too late but they still never forget to remind him that they are there, but Jisung's distance from them was still evident in his behaviour toward them.

That's why they both are a bit hesitant about what they are going to say next.

"Jisung?" The younger glanced up hearing his mother calling him.

"Yes, Ma?" He asked and finished eating the food. He watched the old couple glancing at each other and communicating through their eyes, making him bored.

"Is there anything to say?" Mrs.Han looked at him as she clasped her hands together, placing them over the table.

"Tomorrow there will be some visitors to our house at dinner time. So we will be going shopping," Jisung raised his eyebrows.

"May I ask why?" Mrs.Han glanced at her husband nervously.

"Actually," Mr.Han continued as he held his wife's hand," they are your grandmother's friend's son's family and they are visiting us to see you," Jisung looked at them confused.

"See me? But why?"

"They have a daughter and two sons. The oldest one, their son is married," Jisung blinked his eyes thinking where this conversation was going," and their fifteen-year-old daughter is studying modelling and their second son is currently looking for a partner to settle down with. You may know him..."

"That's the least concern I have now, but why are you guys telling me about their family history? I just wanna know why they are visiting me?"

"They want you as their son-in-law." Mrs.Han said nervously.

"Oh, okay?" Jisung said, drinking the water, but suddenly spit it out as realisation hit him.

"Wait what!? Son-in-law?" Jisung blinked his eyes and gasped." Don't tell me that I have to marry their daughter. What the fuck! Marry a kid?"

"No! You are marrying their son." Mr.Han replied, calmly.

"Now, what the fuck? Marry their son? A man? Why should I marry a man and top of that a total stranger?" He stood up watching his parents getting up too.

"Han Jisung, don't shout!" His father warned, getting a glimpse of their house maids watching their family drama like it was some sort of show.

"Also, aren't you bisexual and like men more?"

"So what?" Jisung yelled, " Just because I am bisexual and like men a bit more, doesn't mean that I only prefer a man as my partner." He said as he slammed the table angrily.

"I'm not going to marry anyone at all. Not now nor ever." He said as he turned around," I'm leaving tomorrow. Good night." He said leaving from there.

"Han Jisung , stop!" His father shouted, but Jisung ignored his words as he went upstairs.

"Darling, please calm down. Let's talk with him tomorrow, okay?" Mrs.Han said, caressing her husband's arms. The elderly couple stood up, leaving the hall.

"Rose, Violet, please clear the tables." The maids immediately straightened up, nodding and proceeded to take the plates away.

"Do they have any right to control his life after what they did?" Whispered Rose, clearing the table. Violet looked behind to see whether anyone is hearing and replied,

"I know right? Rich people are so arrogant." They whispered amongst each other as they both walked out away from the scene.

On the other hand a furious Jisung slammed opened the door and closed it behind. He grabbed the photo frame near his nightstand and threw it at the wall, crying out.

"Why the fuck are they doing this to me?" He screamed, kicking the floor mat."Who gave them the right to rule my life when they didn't even care about me in my childhood?" Jisung cried out as he jumped onto the bed and started punching it weakly.

"What did they take me for? A toy? First, they threw me then came up showing me with care, and when I started opening up with them, they started playing with me again." He yelled onto the bed.

"Why... did I even bother visiting them? Why can't I live alone without getting married?"
