I couldn't believe my eyes. The worst part is... that she was looking at me and smirking. I... I guess we just weren't meant to be. But why do i have the feeling this won't be the last time i see her?
My name is (Y/N) Quinn. I'm in college. Through all these years i never had a single friend, let alone a girlfriend. Probably because i'm very shy. People always hate me for no reason. Even when i'm trying to be nice to them, in the end they always just use me. But i never gave up. My parent's love was the thing that kept me going. They've always supported me and cared for me. Sadly, all good things must come to an end. They both died 7 months ago. Through all this time, i've been having suicidal thoughts. Like, what's the world gonna lose when i'm gone?

I was walking towards my classroom with books in my hands. I was looking at the floor and didn't pay any atention to my surroundings.
*CRASH*
I crashed into somebody and we both left to the floor.
(Y/N): Oh my God! I'm so sorry, i-i-i-
I heard a female voice.
???: It's fine, don't worry.
I looked up to see who it was. To my surprise i bumped into the popular bad girl of the school, Sophia. She was handing me back my books.
Sophia: Are you okay?
(Y/N): I uhh...
She smiled at me and helped me up.
Sophia: I'm Sophia by the way. Who are you?
I started collecting my stuff from the ground.
(Y/N): (Y/N) Quinn. Pleased to meet you.
I extended my hand nerviously. She smirked and pulled me closer to her.
Sophia: Say, do you have anything to do after your classes? We could hang out somewhere.
(Y/N): I uhh... I mean... yeah... sure... why not...?
She licked my cheek. I shivered and she let go of me.
Sophia: I'll wait for you at the back of the school, cutie.
She blew me a kiss and walked away. I was blushing madly. I placed a hand on my cheek.
(Y/N)'s mind: W-What just happened?

Ever since that happened we hung out more and more. Eventually we became a couple. I couldn't believe this was happening. To me of all people. After a year of being together i moved in with her. I thought why not. I'll appreciate the company. For a while, everything seemed perfect. Until that day.

I was walking home with a gift in my hands. Today's our anniversary. I was saving a lot of money to buy a diamond ring for her. I was planning to propose to her today.
(Y/N): Man... Things are finally looking good in my life. I have the woman of my dreams, and my suicidal thoughts are gone.
I approached the door. I noticed another car parked in front of it. I raised an eyebrow.
(Y/N)'s mind: Huh... That's strange...
I walked up to the door and unlocked it. I went inside. It was kinda quiet. I looked around the house, but didn't find her. I headed upstairs.
(Y/N)'s mind: Is she sleeping?
I heard moaning coming from the bedroom.
(Y/N)'s mind: W-What? No... I-I-I'm sure it's not what i'm thinking... right...?
I placed my ear at the door. From inside i heard Sophia.
Sophia: Ahh~ Harder~ Harder~!
My eyes widened when i heard male grunting. I slowly opened the door. I saw Sophia naked under a man. And they were going at it. She noticed me and smirked.
Sophia: What are you doing here- Ahh~ Loser?
My voice was shaking.
(Y/N): S-Sophia... Why?
Sophia: Isn't it- Ahh~ Obvious? You're just so pathetic. I've never loved you, you know? I was just using you to- Ahh~ Make him jealous.
I fell on my knees. I couldn't believe what i was hearing. So she was just using me. Well... At least i'm used to it. Tears filled my eyes.
Sophia: Are you going or do we have to- Ahh~ Kick you out.
I was just standing there not reacting. They both got up and came to me. The man kicked me in the gut and Sophia punched me in the face.
Sophia: When we're done you better be gone.
I didn't move.
Man: Oi, did ya hear her?!
He pulled me up by the hair. Sophia placed a hand on his shoulder.
Sophia: Come on, Ralphie, we have something to finish~
She looked at me and kicked me.
Sophia: As for this little shit, we'll deal with him later if he's still here.
He let go of me and they went back to the bedroom. I was laying on the floor. I heard something shatter.
(Y/N)'s mind: Huh... there goes my heart...
I got up with an emotionless face. I wiped the tears away and headed downstairs. I pulled out the box with the ring from my pocket and looked at it.
(Y/N)'s mind: Hmm... Well... It is meant for her, so i can't give it to anyone else and it'd be a huge waste if i just threw it away...
I gently placed it on the table.
(Y/N)'s mind: Whatever...
I went to the front door and walked out.
(Y/N): Guess another chapter from my life's story is done. Now i know what love feels like... and it hurts like hell...
I sat at the front porch. The only sound i could hear was the one of their moanings. I looked at the sky. It was filled with gray clouds. My heart was numb. I heard a thunder. The rain started pouring. It was covering my tears of betrayal.
