Rose Augustine 24 yrs old -> born February 18th, 2129 - 3 years younger than Jake (Jake is 27 in this fic cause it takes place 5 years after the war with the humans) she/her, AFAB 5' 1 (human form), 7' 11 (avatar form) - Grace's daughter that she had kept secret in order to join the Avatar Program - A xenobotanist and xenolinguist like her mother - Grace brought Rose to Pandora a few years after Grace went there permanently (3 years before the 1st movie took place) as a scientist - She joined the Avatar Program once she completed her degree in linguistics (3 years after the 1st movie) but hasn't become an Avatar Driver yet

Marcus Levan 26 yrs old -> born March 19th, 2127 he/him, AMAB 6'3 (human form), 8'10 (Avatar form) - joined the Avatar program at the same time as Rose and his sister Mina, they had a lot less training so they took a while to get a hold on their Avatar forms, though they still got them 3 months before Rose - he's mute, he signs to talk to the others and they usually sign back instead of speaking back to make him more comfortable - his avatar form can speak, but he's very soft spoken and still usually chooses to sign instead

Tonio Evans 23 years old -> born December 31st, 2130 he/him, AFAB 5'9 (human form), 8'11 (Avatar form) - Max's little brother - Came to Pandora with his brother and helped him study and develop the avatars but at the time was too young to officially join the avatar program - He transitioned shortly before he came to Pandora, and Max was able to make sure Tonio's avatar would be male so as to not cause any dysphoria or discomfort
