The lost Prince (Katsuki Bakugo X Reader)

Chapter 6

When Y/n stumble scrambles back toward the baggage car from the burning locomotive in a hurry "we're going way to fast!!" Midoryia cried "nobody's driving this train! We're gonna have to jump!" Looking down as a sheer cliff drops into a chasm "JUMP ARE YOU INSANE?!" The boys questioned her "after you then" Bakugo told "fine but, then we'll uncouple the car!"

Not knowing that the minions of Shigaraki heard the plan so the minions weld the coupling of the car so it cannot disconnect when Y/n took her chance and  jumps onto the coupling and begins working the connection to uncouple the baggage car from the possessed locomotive "hurry I need a wrench, an ax, anything!"

So Bakugo and Midoryia search desperately through the baggage compartment when Y/n is holding on and Midoryia then struggles to pull a toolbox near the door.

Dimbhair starts barking to get Bakugo attention "what Dumbhair what?!" Then he look down why he's yapping "awe hell yeah" he smiled at a box that labeled explosives.

Midoryia held the hammer and gave it to Y/n "here!" So Y/n used the hammer to bash it down but the head of the hammer snapped off "just give me something in there better than this."

Bakugo hand over Y/n a lit stick of dynamite "waku waku" very impressive as she shoves it into the coupling "go go go!!" Y/n told when the trio race to the other end of the car in a pile, behind a steamer trunk "you told me you grow up in the orphanages so what did they teach you?"

And just like that the dynamite exploded when the front of the car is blown away but the minions look back and see the baggage car has separated from the locomotive and starting growling in disapproval, they race off ahead of the train, towards the bridge.

With the engine and its coal tender speed along, the baggage car not far behind the Midoryia turns the brake wheel "breaks out!!!"

"Turn harder!" Then the wheel comes off in his hands "just forget it we've got plenty of track, we'll just coast to a stop." Spoken too soon that is when the Minions unite into one large minion that destroys the bridge in a flash of green fire and the trio stares at the crumbling bridge, dumbstruck "don't worry about you said!" Bakugo mock her and the baggage car picks up speed as it heads downhill toward the collapsed bridge.

So Y/n has a plan "I got an idea Izuku" so Y/n grabs a chain holding down some cargo "give me a hand with this" but Midoryia looses his balance and falls into a box while Y/n edges her way out of the caste when the  ground whizzes by beneath her as she lowers herself underneath the carriage.

"Okay, hand me the chain!" She command as she reaches up and is stunned to see Bakugo hanging out over him with the chain "anyone else?!"

"Broccoli is busy at the moment" Y/n has no choice so she accepts the chain from him, hooks it onto the undercarriage twisted steel from the front of the train flies back at her like shrapnel "oh no" loosing her grip, Bakugo help her by yanks herself up just as the shrapnel whips by, shattering a tree.

They land in near embrace, and catch their breath. Their eyes meet, stirring some distant feeling when Y/n snaps out of it first, glancing back to the shattered tree receding it the distance "ha think to be, that could have been you."

"Even if we live, remind me to thank you." She muttered and Bakugo heard it as the train continued speeding as they approach the gorge with the damaged baggage car and the train engine "here goes nothing. Brace yourselves." Y/n and Bakugo throws the other end of the chain out the back also has a hook on it and the hook bounces several times, then bites into a railroad tie.

It instantly pulls but the tie, then several more and the separates from the wheel base, turns sideways on the track, plowing through the snow and slowing down so Y/n turn to the boys "well, this is our stop" so they all all jump, land in the snow, the overheated train engine and the ruined baggage car plunge over the broken bridge and violently explode into a ball of fire, smoke and flying sparks at the bottom of the gorge.

However, Shigaraki watches the whole thing through the Reliquary, seeing that the trio have landed safely in a snow bank "this will be my first and last ride and remind me never to get on a train again" Y/n said to them as Shigaraki scream in agony.

"Shigaraki sama please," Kurogiri calm him "stress is a killer sama" then Shigaraki stares blankly at him for a beat "HOW COULD THEY LET HIM ESCAPE?!"

"It's very upsetting sama" so Kurogiri picked up the Reliquary "seem that I'll be free from this" he muttered as he tosses the Reliquary over his shoulder flies through the air. "BAKA!!!" he skids across the floor he flings his own hand ahead as his hand lands under the Reliquary, breaking its fall just in time "you little baka!!! I sold my soul for this. My life, my very existence depends on it, and you almost destroyed it!" Using his free hand to throw him back and Kurogiri did took cover.

"Blame the bat. What the heck we're easy targets always hanging ... ar..." sulking he did when Shigaraki asked him "what the hell are you muttering about?"

"All I'm asking is that I'll do anything to get rid of him with the easy thing to do" he lied but willing to take it unfortunately, Shigaraki watches disgusted "ignorant baka but, I have something else in mind ... something more enticing, something really cruel."

By descending from the mountains, spring is in the air Bakugo asked them "so are we all going to walk to Japan or something?"

"Negative, we'll take a boat in Germany" Y/n replied "subarashii we're walking to Germany?"

"Haha funny but no, we're taking a bus." Then Bakugo groan "a bus! That's nice."
