CHAPTER SIX

I realized that the terrorists were mad at me. I just killed their own.

Oh no, I said to myself.

Now they could kill James and all my friends.

I stood there. Hopeless. Waiting for death.

I quickly ran back in the cave, And stuffed the bow and arrows behind me.

"GET OUT WITH YOUR HANDS UP!" the man yelled,

I slowly walked up and raised my hands.

My bow and arrow were behind me, and I nervously decided whether to shoot him or not. Compared to a gun, my weapons are powerless. The man could still shoot James, even if I shot him in the head. I would have to wait for him to get away from James.

I wished for another boat, a military boat, to come and rescue me. James would have jumped out and swam to me while the boat blew up.

Wishfull thinking.

I stood still, now knowing what to do next.

"WHERE IS THOMAS!?" the man yells at me.

I stood still nervously.

"I KILLED HIM!" I yelled at the man.

If the man did not have his ski mask, I was sure he would have cried. I almost felt sorry for this guy, who just lost his friend. I guess he might shoot James now, for revenge.

Without thinking, I pulled out my bow and lucky arrow and shoot at the man.

Direct hit. The man fell down in agony as the arrow hit him in his head.

"RUN, JAMES!" I yelled.

James stood still. I almost felt angry at him. Then I realized there were more men. At first, I saw one hidden man, then another. Then six. Then ten. A bullet almost rips through my shoulder. I run to the cave and shoot another shot when I get in. It misses, of course.

Hopeless. That's how it felt in the cave with twenty armed men.
