Cahpter 1 - Big Move

"I honestly don't see why I have to move... This is total bull... I can't even explain what happened" putting my cousin on speaker while packing my things
"See down here its coo I mean you could do your little writing thing you do and maybe just maybe somebody will find out about it and help your publish it... But aye uncle Carlos lettin you come to my school right?" Day Day asked and I heard muffled sounds in the background
"Yea... But I don't wanna have to fight because people asking me what am I and what's that noise" I asked curiously.
"Its just Mt homies Julian, Langston, and Jason... Remember him?" He said
"Yeah... Piggly Dick. But I'll be down there tomorrow morning come with Carlos" I said biting my lip while looking at a picture of me and my best friends... I couldn't just leave without saying goodbye but if I did it would hurt them even more than to just not say anything.
"Carter Raylynn Bates I know you hear me so stop daydreaming" I hear Day Day say ..
"Sorry but yea tell Jason I said hey call you later when I get there" I said
"See you Lil nigga" he said laughing and I hear more goodbyes from the background from the other boys.

This sucks that I have to leave because of other people but its for there sake.

"Carter!!" I heary name being yelled so I oblige and go see who wants me
"Yes" I say
"Get your things were about to leave" My father said looking so disappointed in me.

I do as I am told and get my things. The whole ride to the airport it was quiet no one tried to break the silence. I look to my left to see my little brother Rodney holding a card in his hand that said your the best sister and it made think bout all the things I've said to him and he still adores me. I will miss him so much and my mom I feel really bad because my mom really trusted me and I betrayed her. Oh well I heard California is a really cool place to live.

*At The Airport*

"Mom I'm going to miss you and I want some pictures of the new baby" I said hugging her trying my best not to cry.
"I'm gone try... I love You have fun but not to much your still in trouble" she with a stern voice at the end
"Rodney... Don't feel bad I'll always Skype with you... And yes you can have my PS4 console l" I said as he made a YES!! Face and I them gave him a hug walking to the entrance without saying anything to my father.
*On The Way To California*
*Bleep Bleep Bleep* my computer blared out. It was saying my little brother was calling me

I answer it.
"Hey Critter Bug" I say plugging in my headphones to my laptop.
"Hey Bena. Hows the flight?" Rodney asked
"Uhh well when we first took flight my ears started to ring and they gave me gum to chew on. But now everyone's asleep" I said pushing a button and a lady appeared.
"Hi you pushed the button, Is there anything you need?" She said as I read her name tag and it said Tayna. Her caramel skin went perfect with her hair.
" Uhh yes actually could I get some cashews please and a bottle of water" I said smiling. I heard Rodney saying something about how mom was tiring my room into a nursery.
"Uhh Critter Bug I'll call you tomorrow okay. Love you. Goodnight" I said knowing he was going to say the same thing. Then he hung up and I put my computer up and waited on my snack and drink. After I finished my stuff I feel asleep into a deep sleep. When I woke up the man next to me asked if I had a pen and I told him yes and have him a pen. Soon after that we landed and I came into three entrance to find my Uncle Carlos and Day Day waiting for me.

"Carter my nigga." Day Day said waking up to me and taking one of my bags and waking to the car and putting the stuff in the trunk.
