Chapter 18 - Bad News Bena :'(

Carter POV
When I got home I see my Aunt with puffu red eyes she must have been crying and I looked over and saw uncle Carlos looking the same way.
"What's going on?" I say, my heart beating out of chest.
"Bena its...  I'm so sorry" My aunt said breaking down into tears.
"What is it.... Is it Day Day... What?" I ask feeling tears coming.
"Carter, its your parents" Carlos finally said and I broke down
"Are they.... What happened?" I ask.
"They were on there way to go pick up Rodney from school and on the way there some ran into them and your mom... She died instantly and so did the baby... Your dad he died at the hospital... Rodney's coming out here with us we bought him a ticket and his babysitter is bringing him to the airport so we could get him tomorrow" He said and I was completely froze... My body was numb... It felt like my heart has been wripped out my chest, how can this happened, part of this is my fault... I shook my head in denial... My parents are really gone... I needed to get out of here... I needed to talk to Day Day.
I ran out the house and drove to Day Day house. My eyes were red and puffy.
I opened the door and rushed into his room to find Him, Julian and who else Langston.
They all looked at me.
"Carter.... What's up" I heard Julian say but it sounded far away...
"Daron... It can't be true..." I said still standing there in shock...
"Carter you never say my real name... What wrong? Have you been crying?* He asked and I felt a tear leave my eye.
"There gone" is all I could say.
"Who?... Carlos and Libby" He said and I shook my head.
"My parents... There gone..." I say and Day Day walked up to me and wrapped his arms around me.
"What happened?" Day Day said
"They were on there way to pick Rodney up from school and some one ran right into them and Mom died instantly and so did the baby... She was due in a couple of weeks to... My dad he died at the hospital.... There gone... Part of this is my fault" I said shaking my head and he grabbed my head.
"Bena this isn't your fault... Don't say that... Is Rodney coming down here?" Day Day asked now Langston came up behind me and grabbed my waist. "Uhh.. Yea... Hell be here tomorrow" I say
"Langston what you need to do is drive her home and stay there with her" Day Day said
"Are you gonna come with me tomorrow to get Rodney from the airport?" I ask... That was a dumb question of course he's coming... He gave me a look like 'really... Duhh'

The whole ride home was silent... Until he broke the silence.
"I'm sorry about your parents" He said still looking at the road.
"Its fine... You never told me you have a brother." He said trying to lighten up the mood
"Yea... He's 11... I was suppose to call him everyday but I don't know tmehat happened... Matter of fact imma call him now" I say picking up my phone and dialing his number.
I plugged in the aux coard and he answered
"Hey Critter Bug... How you feeling?" I ask...
"I miss them a lot... I miss them so much it makes my stomach hurt." He said, he started to cry
"Rodney listen to me... If I could bring them back I would but I can't... What I can do is promise you that I will never let anything happen to you as long as I'm alive... Promise me you will not ho ape shit on me... Or your gonna be in deep doo-doo" I said smiling a little. I felt the car stop so that means were here...
"I promise... Are you coming to pick me up tomorrow?" He asked.
"Yes... Day Day said he'd come to and tomorrow I want you to meet someone."I say looking over at Langston who was on his phone playing Don't Sell The Weed
"Okay... Love you" He says
"Love you to" I say and hang up the phone.

We got out the car and walked into the house.
"Sorry I bardged out" I say.
"We know... Darin's mom called us" Carlos said and I walked up the stairs with Langston
I opened the door and flopped down on my bed.
"Come here you weirdo" I say sitting up.
"You come here" He said holding his arms open.
I got up and walked over to him and hugged him... That's what I needed was a hug...
"Do you wanna use my car to get some clothes from your house?" I said looking up at him
"Yeah sure... Are you gonna gonna school tomorrow?" He said
"Uhh I don't know... Maybe" I say letting go of him and getting car keys off the bed.
"I'll be here" I say pushing him out the door. 
I needed a shower to.wash all this mess away.
I played my clothes on the bed. Which was some red shorts and a whit and black crop top.

....

I was in the shower for about a good 15 minutes... I decided to get out the shower. I wrapped the towel around my naked body and walked in to my room and was changing into my bra and underwear... I heard the door creak open and I turned around to see Langston looking me over.
"Having fun" I say putting my shorts.
"U- Uhh sorry. Where's the restroom I need a shower" He said putting his bag on my dresser.
I showed him my bathroom that's in my room. He was in the shower for about 20 minutes.
He came in and it was hard for me to keep my eyes on the book I was reading because he had tattoos on his chest... They were pretty cool... I looked back down to Anna Dressed in Blood.

I couldn't lie he must have had to work out cause that body of his was getting my attention.

He climbed into the bed next to me, For some reason everytime I'm next to him my heart starts to race.
I finally feel asleep after reading a couple more chapters of the book I was reading.
