Chapter 6 - Homework Buddies

The day ended and I was way to tired to do anything until my phone rang and it interrupted my song I answered it
"Yea Day Day" I say
"Come to Langston House that's where we at..." He said
"I dont know where he live, us I really don't wanna see or speak to him... So you guys just have to meet at uncle Carlos house" I say hanging up the phone

Langston POV.
"Aye bro what you do to my cousin" Day Day got up and walked over to me
"What?" I snap back at him
"What the fuck did you do to my cousin" He said talking to me like a 3year old
"I didn't do anything to her, she must be trippin" I said
"She would just be "tripping" for no reason, She said she doesn't seem want to see you or speak to you... I find that pretty funny because there must be a reason... Care to explain" He said crossing his arms
"I don't know what's wrong with that braud she probably on her period." I said and right when I said it I regretted it.
He skill his head and grabbed his keys and told us to get our shit
"Bro that was rude as hell Carter is way to coo to just trip like that and I don't even know her that well to know that... You need to make it right... Anyways pass me that blunt" Julian said
The whole ride across town was quiet except for the music playing but I could still feel the tension in the air. We pull up to this house that looks like a beach house. and I saw her car... I looked up and saw her bedroom she was sitting on her balcony reading a book... I didn't know she wore glasses. She looks very pretty
Day Day opened the door and screamed her full name.
"Daron Marquan Bates!!!" She yelled back
And she came down the stairs in a long skirt, with a white tank top and a red cardigan.
"Uhh... Right... Help with your homework. Well I'm not gone start with Spanish so yea" She say walking down the stair all the way... She seemed so tall at school... But she's actually very short compared to me.
She brushed pass me into the kitchen and was digging in the refrigerator. And she came back with four Juices
"What about the snacks" Day Day said laughing
"You've been to this house more than I have. You know where the food is" she said walking back into the kitchen and grabbing some snacks.
"Thank you" Day Day said.
She just gave him a weird look
"Uhh so this is your house" I finally spoke up and she have me a death stare.
"Yea." She says and automatically gets her homework out.
I got up and stretched.
"Where is the restroom." I say
And she got up and showed me where the restroom is but I had to talk to her. So I grabbed her arm and she spin around in my arms
"Please let me go" she said
"Please just hear me out. I didn't text you that and youbsais you know that and I'm sorry that Kellie came up to you on some bs with her possie an-" I said before she put a finger up to my mouth
"Umm sir I don't care... About that.. Its the fact that she thinks we have a thing going on and she thinks I'm gonna fight over a boy I don't have so therefore you need to checknyour hoes..." She said patting me on my chest and walking away.
