Kie's POV:

JJ came over the next night and he said, "So, uh my work is having this thing and they gave me a plus one and I wanted to know if you'd want to go with me. It's supposed to some couples retreat but it's on a fancy boat out on the water for two days. There's a bunch of whale watching, diving, and things like that. I know you love all that but if you don't want to go, that's okay. I can just go alone. I just didn't want to bring someone random and have them embarrass me or get me fired"

He must have been nervous asking me because he was rambling.

"I'd love to go with you" I said and he totally relaxed after that

It was the next day so it was Thursday-Sunday. We were staying overnight on a yacht. It was all paid for by his company. He texted me the information and the itinerary for the event.

There was so much going on like diving, whale watching, and on the last night there was a full on ball and dance. I looked at JJ and asked, "How the hell did you get invited to this?"

"Manger likes me and he got to invite a few employees" He answered

"We need to go shopping" I said taking him to the mainland to go get a suit and a dress for me

We were going in all the kook stores and I got JJ fitted for a suit while I was trying on dresses. He kept looking at the price tags and I told him not to worry about it.

He had his suit all picked out and ordered and I was still deciding on dresses. He snuck into my dressing room and looked at me as he kissed me.

"We can't do this here" I said as he was unbuttoning his pants

"Sure we can" He said sliding his finger inside of my underwear and he just smirked as I was soaking wet

We had a little quickie in the dressing room. I was terrified we were going to get caught but JJ didn't seem worried. He snuck out and I picked my dress out. I paid for the dress and the tux and we left the store.

We went out for lunch and JJ was begging to know what dress I picked. I told him it was a surprise. We had a few days before we left the island for a few days. Sarah was going to cover for me and say we were going on a girls' trip because my mom and dad would freak out if they knew I was going with JJ.

Before I knew it, JJ and I were in our small room on the yacht. We were hanging out on the deck of the ship when his boss came over.

"JJ, so glad you could make it"

His boss introduced himself and his wife and JJ went to introduce me and he said, "This is Kiara, my girlfriend"

I smiled politely and shook their hands. Why the hell did he just call me his girlfriend? I went with it as it was his boss and once they walked away, I looked at him and asked, "When did I become your girlfriend?"

"What was I supposed to say? I panicked"

I just laughed it off as it really didn't matter. We made small talk with all the people and attended the dinner together. That night, there was a small party on the deck and we were heading out into the ocean where the water was pretty rough. I was getting seasick which usually never bothered me but tonight I was so nauseated.

"I'm going back to the room" I said to JJ as I was about to puke and he knew I was feeling seasick

He grabbed my arm and walked me back to our room and I just laid down on the bed. JJ asked, "Is there anything I can do for you?"

"No" I said as I ran into the bathroom and puked

JJ followed me and he grabbed my hair as I was vomitting. I laid on the bathroom floor and JJ asked if I wanted to lay in bed and I wanted to, I just couldn't move.

"I feel like I'm gonna puke again, so I'm just going to stay here" I said as the cold floor felt so good

JJ left the bathroom for a second and then he came back and he sat down and pulled my head onto his lap. He lightly rubbed my back and he just sat there with me. I fell asleep and then I woke up and threw up again. I went and changed into pajamas and
I laid back on JJ's lap and said, "You don't have to spend your night in here, go back to the party"

"I don't know any of those people. I'm going to stay here with you" JJ said as he scooped me up and carried me to bed

He laid me on the queen bed and pulled the covers over my body. He laid down next to me and I said, "I'm sorry for ruining your night"

"You didn't ruin anything, but I'm not kissing you goodnight" He teased me

I laughed and he kissed my head and he lightly rubbed my back. I woke up the next morning feeling much better. I was so embarrassed about last night but it didn't seem to bother JJ.

We got up and went to breakfast and I wasn't that hungry. I just had some fruit. Today we were whale watching and there was a chance to do some caged shark dive. JJ was stoked to do that.

"Feeling better today?" He asked as we were whale watching

"Yeah, I'm so sorry about last night"

"Kie, don't worry about it" He said as the whales approached the boat

They were so close we reached out and touched them. I looked at JJ and asked, "Can we bring one hone for the bathtub"

JJ's boss laughed and his wife said, "I like that idea"

Tomorrow was the big shark dive and tonight we were getting ready to sign forms, go over the instructional/demonstration stuff.

The instructor was listing all the medical reasons why an individual shouldn't go. The instructor said no one who is pregnant can go. Suddenly, the wife off JJ's boss froze and looked at her husband.

"Surprise" She said to her husband

JJ and I congratulated the couple who was excited for their third child. We finished all the paperwork and then headed to dinner together.

That night, JJ and I were brushing our teeth and I went and laid down. JJ laid down in the bed with me and I was almost asleep when JJ asked, "Do you think you're pregnant?"
