Kie's POV:

After I ended the arrangement with JJ, it was hard at first. I told my roommate everything. She told me that I needed to go on a date. She set me up on a few dates with some guys and they were all awful.

I was going out on one more date and his name was Dylan. We went out to dinner and the date actually wasn't awful. It was kinda nice and I had fun. It was good enough that I accepted a second date with him.

Our second date was amazing and he asked me out again and I accepted. We had been hanging out a lot. It was on our third date that he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes.

Dylan and I hung out together all the time. My college friends also loved him. He was super kind and really smart. He was super excited to meet my friends from back home. All the pogues were coming to visit over spring break and I was so excited to see them all.

Things were okay between me and JJ. At least they seemed to be. We were back to being friends which was good because that whole friends with benefits thing was just a bad idea.

The pogues just got here and I ran outside to hug them all. We went up to my room and John B asked, "So, what now?"

"Dinner! I'm starving" Pope said

We were heading to a small cafe that wasn't too far away. We all got into my car, thankfully my parents let have my car out here this Spring since I was working off campus.

JJ was sitting up front and Pope said, "You guys know we're sitting on the seat that those two fucked on"

JJ and I laughed and I thought back to that night.

"You do realize they've pretty much fucked everywhere. My van, the couches, the spare room, the HMS..."

"Like we haven't done the same thing" Sarah said kissing John B

We all got food and ate it on the beach. We talked and caught up and then Dylan walked over with two of his friends.

"Kie" He called out

I got up and walked over to him. He hugged me and they walked over and I introduced Dylan to each of them. I then said, "And guys, this is my boyfriend, Dylan"

"Boyfriend?" JJ asked looking at me

"Yeah" I said and Dylan kissed me

It seemed like the wrong time but it was like he did this to show JJ that I was his. He didn't know anything about my past with JJ. I wanted to keep it that way.

Tomorrow was our surfing day and Sarah invited him and his friends to join. After he left, Sarah looked at me and said, "How could you keep that a secret"

"It wasn't a secret. It just never came up"

"I want all the details... He's so hot" Sarah said and she wasn't wrong

"I don't want any details" JJ said getting up

"Neither do I" Pope said

"Someone sounds jealous" Sarah and to provoke JJ

"Sarah, stop" John B said

JJ and Pope left and went for a walk and John B went and caught up to them. I filled Sarah in and told her that Dylan can't know about my past with JJ.

The boys came back and we went back to my dorm. My dorm room was set up suite style so each suite had a shared living room, bathroom, and two bedrooms so I had three roommates.  I introduced the pogues to my roommates. I knew exactly what JJ was thinking.

I whispered, "If you flirt with them, kiss them, sleep with them, or do anything with them I will kill you"

"Not interested" He said sitting on the couch

"Can we talk?" I asked as he got up and followed me to my room

I shut the door and JJ sat on my bed and I asked, "What's wrong?"

"Nothing" He said

"You're such a bad liar"

"Why didn't you tell me about your new boyfriend?"

"It never came up and I didn't think it was a big deal. You're hooking up with other girls. Our friends with benefits deal is over"

"I'm not mad about it. It was just weird finding out that way. I'm not going to hook up with any of your roommates" He said

"What happened to the necklace?" He asked

"Nothing. It's just in a safe spot. I don't feel right wearing it after what happened between us. You should take it back and give it to the girl you end up marrying"

JJ looked at me and said, "You can't returned a present like that. It's yours"

"J, are you sure?"

"Yes, I meant what I said when I gave it to you" He said

"Can you also please not mention anything about our past around Dylan?"

"So you're embarrassed?"

"No, I just don't want him getting the wrong idea. You know thinking I'm a total slut"

JJ laughed and said, "You aren't a slut. Maybe you were a slut for me but only for me. You weren't going after every guy you saw. If anything, I'm the slut"

I laughed and so did he. He looked at me and said, "Don't worry, everything that happened between us will stay a secret"

He sat there and I didn't say anything and it was awkward but he made it even more awkward when he asked, "So can I leave? Or did you want to fuck?"

I rolled my eyes and quickly turned to open the door to hide how red my face turned. He followed me out of the room and we were about to watch a movie together. I was sitting on the couch next to JJ who was next to Pope who was next to John B. Sarah said alone in a chair. My two roommates sat on the oversized chair together and my other roommate and her boyfriend were laying on the floor.

The movie ended and everyone went to bed. John B and Sarah were sharing the couch as it pulled out into a bed. Pope was taking the recliner. That left JJ on the oversized chair.

I was laying in bed and my roommate said, "You know JJ is still crazy about you. He can't stop looking at you"

"He does that with every girl. He knows I'm dating Dylan"

We talked for a few more minutes before we fell asleep. Tomorrow was surfing with the pogues and I was so excited. I got up the next morning and Dylan was here ready to go.
