10 months. That's how long Y/n and Venom spent training. In that time, Y/n had not only learned to fight and swing on his webs, but also managed to create an "alter ego" for school and hero purposes.
Venom had created a name for himself, being called "The Lethal Vigilante" by the public. He'd go around at night and eat people he found that were doing bad things.
Now the two stand infront of U.A Highschool, on the day of the entrance exam. There's a soft breeze that puts Y/n at ease, giving him hope that he'll pass.
He takes a deep breath. It's time for Y/n to prove himself worthy of becoming a hero!
Y/n exhales and walks forwards, the building of U.A towering over him. He looks around at the other people wishing to get into U.A as well, and assesses the competition.
Y/n: 'alright... no one seems too threatening, that's good.'
Y/n enters the main building, absolutely filled with people. He looks up at a big sign that points to the right. "All examinees make your way to the auditorium". He looks around for the entrance, and pushes his way through the crowd.
Y/n: sorry. Excuse me. Sorry, let me just- OOFH-
Y/n bumps into someone, knocking both of them onto the floor. Y/n sits up quickly, holding his knee. He looks over at who he knocked over, and notes that they have green curly hair. The kid rubs his head.
Green-Hair: owww...
Y/n stands up and puts his hand out for the kid, who looks up at him nervously.
Y/n: you alright, Vegetable Garden?
The kid looks shocked at the nickname, but takes Y/n's hand. He stands up and rubs his neck, embarrassed.
Green-Hair: y-yes, i'm okay...
Y/n: good, good. Hey, sorry for knocking you over, i was trying to get to the auditorium.
Green-Hair: no r-really, it's fine...!
The two fall silent for a moment.
Y/n:.. well, i'd better get going...
Y/n pushes past the green haired kid and points back at the auditorium entrance.
Y/n: see you around, and good luck with the exam.
Y/n gives the green haired kid a thumbs up and starts to walk towards the entrance of the auditorium. The kid looks over his shoulder at Y/n as he leaves.
Venom: 'hmm... that kid...'
Y/n: '... yeahhhhh...? What about him...?'
Venom: 'there's something... powerful, hidden inside him. I can sense it...'
Y/n: 'in THAT body...?'
Y/n looks back at the kid, who struggles to push past someone.
Y/n: 'you sure?'
Venom: 'positive! Keep an eye on him.'
Y/n rolls his eyes and chuckles to himself, confusing a few people near him. He turns back to the hallway and walks down it until he finds the entrance to the auditorium. He finds an empty seat and sits down, waiting for the exam to begin.
As time passes, more and more people begin to fill the room up. Y/n glances to his side and sees the green haired kid take the seat to his right. Y/n smiles lightly, before returning his attention to the stage, where a blond man asks for everyones attention. A big screen behind the blond man displays the U.A logo.
Blond-Man: welcome to my show today! Everybody say "hey"!
The blond man puts a hand to his ear, but the auditorium falls silent. Even without a microphone, the mans voice is loud enough to irritate Venom. The blond man shrugs his shoulders.
