After the short break that was given to Y/n after the USJ finishes, everyone in Class 1-A (except Y/n (because he's not there)) is discussing the attack that they witnessed firsthand. The event instantly made news coverage and the entire country is talking about it online.
Hagakure: hey, did you watch the news last night?
Ojiro: yeah?
Hagakure: did you see how everyone in class was on-screen for a second? I didn't stand out at all...
Hagakure's clothes visibly deflate.
Shoji: that's true.
Ojiro: ah! It's hard to stand out looking like that, huh?
Kaminari: but man, all the channels made a big deal out of it.
Kirishima: i was pretty surprised.
Jiro: can you blame them? The hero course that keeps pumping out pro Heros got attacked.
Sero: who knows what would've happened if the teachers hadn't come when they did.
Sato: but All Might had the villains scared for their lives! He punched that giant bird into the sky!
Tokoyami: yes, All Might's strength is worth wondering at.
Kaminari: did you guys see Venom though? He took on a whole team of villains by himself!
Yaoyorozu: i agree, Venom was rather impressive as well. He was even able to hold his own against the Nomu for a good while.
Kirishima: i found it kinda freaky how Venom knew so much about me and Midoriya. It's like he knows us personally...
Kirishima shivers at the thought.
Shoji: his personality was also a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.
Sero: yeah, i kinda thought he'd be aggressive and mean, like Bakugo.
Bakugo: shut it, Tape Arms.
Bakugo stares at the wall infront of him, his eye twitching. Kirishima sits up from his seat to get a better look at Bakugos face.
Kirishima: woah, Bakugo's not shouting. I wonder why?
Bakugo: that damned alien called me weak! I'LL SHOW HIM! I'LL KICK HIS ASS!
Jiro: don't forget, there's the whole situation with Y/n's sister, Ami.
Yaoyorozu: i don't think you should bring that up so casually, Jiro. It's very impolite.
Kaminari leans back in his chair towards Yaoyorozu.
Kaminari: buuuut, since we're on the topic of that now, i hope Y/n's doing alright after all that.
Ojiro: he barely talked to anyone after the incident.
Kirishima: i know he texted me saying he's fine, but i think he's just lying to make us not worry.
The door to the room opens, and everyone turns to see Y/n... looking perfectly content. He walks in without a word.
All: 'HE'S ACTUALLY FINE?!'
The class stares at him, confused. Y/n picks up on this and pauses infront of the class.
Y/n:... something on my face?
Kaminari: DUDE?! Are you alright?!
Kaminari leans over his desk with a baffled look. The others seem just as worried. A look of realisation dawns on Y/n's face.
Y/n: oh! Yeah, i'm feeling much better now. Sorry about that back there...
Y/n lightly chuckles and inches his way over to his desk, the gaze of everyone in the class fixated on him. They're very clearly still worried for him, and his chuckles don't ease the tension at all. He sits down at his desk and sighs.
