Before the school day, the staff of U.A high all prepare their stuff for the day ahead, Aizawa mentally preparing himself, when a knock is heard at the door to the teachers lounge.
Present-Mic: OOO, i'll get it!
Present Mic rushes towards the door and opens it, to find Toshinori Yagi, All Mights true identity, waiting patiently for himself to be let in. He is frail and skinny, almost skeleton-like. Nothing like what you'd expect from the number one hero.
Present-Mic: yo, yo, YO, whaddup All Might! What can i do for ya?
Yagi:... i have something of important matters i have to speak to you all about.
Present-Mic: oh? This sounds serious. Well, come in, come in!
Present Mic steps to the side and holds the door open for Yagi to walk in. He gives Mic a nod of appreciation and walks over to the sofa, where Midnight and Aizawa sit.
In the room is Present Mic, Aizawa, Midnight, Cementoss, Ectoplasm and Snipe. Yagi places himself down next to Midnight and leans forward in thought. Mic slumps over the sofa opposite to Yagi, sighing as he relaxes into the cushions.
Present-Mic: so! What's the matter, All Might?
Yagi:... first, allow me to ask. You all know about Y/n L/n, from Class 1-A, don't you?
Present-Mic: oh, him? He's SO good at English, he even willingly answers my questions sometimes! SUCH a good kid.
Ectoplasm: yes, he has shown excellent skills and intelligence. Always entertaining his classmates, too.
Midnight: my only issue is that he's oblivious to my innuendos.
Snipe: 'maybe that's a good thing...'
Snipe glances at Midnights pouting and sweatdrops. Yagi thinks over the teachers' reactions, and how they also think highly of Y/n. His eyes turn pitch black.
Cementoss: why do you ask about that boy?
Yagi:... i'll be brief. I have suspisions that there may be a traitor among our ranks. And i believe Y/n is the culprit.
Aizawa chokes on his coffee a bit, and the staff are visibly taken aback by Yagi's suggestion. Aizawa places his mug on the table, a thud ringing out from the force, and turns towards Yagi.
Aizawa: now why, and more importantly HOW, do you think that one of my own students is a traitor?
Present-Mic: YEAH! What evidence do you have?!
Yagi pulls a piece of paper out from seemingly nowhere and places it on the table.
Yagi: a good amount. Present Mic, i want you to read this page on Y/n made by U.A, out loud so we all can hear.
Present-Mic: o... kay?
Present Mic leans forwards to grab the paper, before clearing his throat.
Present-Mic: alright, let's see. Name: Y/n L/n. Age: 15. Date of Birth... that's odd?
Midnight: what? What's odd?
Present-Mic: most of his file is blank! No date of birth, no favourite food, no NOTHING! Just his name, Quirk and family have information!
The teachers all murmur amongst each other in confusion and turn towards Yagi. None of them are in charge of writing the students personal sheets, so this comes as a major shock to them.
Yagi: i was confused too. Which is why i checked the community hall website and found this, from last year.
Yagi pulls out another sheet of paper from, again, seemingly nowhere and hands it to Present Mic.
Present-Mic: ehh, still mainly blank...
Yagi: could you please read out his family info, then his Quirk section please?
Present-Mic: sure thing... uhh, Mama L/n and Papa L/n... both deceased?!
Gasps ring throughout the room. Midnight covers her mouth with her hand in shock, and Aizawas eyes widen.
Midnight: ohh... oh, that poor boy...!
Snipe: i had no idea... the kid seems so energetic all the time!
Present-Mic: w-wow, uh... adopted sister, Ami L/n... missing, presumed dead...
Cementoss: his sister too...?
Aizawa: 'Ami... that name sounds familiar...'
Yagi: i tried to find out if he has anyone to look after him... but, there's no one. No grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, stepsiblings or even a guardian. The boy's been living alone for a long time...
Aizawa: 'is that even legal...?'
The room falls silent for a bit, taking time to digest this info. Until Mic speaks up, that is.
Present-Mic: a-and lastly, his Quirk... wha- QUIRKLESS?!
Hums of confusion erupt throughout the room. The boy, who CLEARLY has a Quirk, and an impressive one at that, was apparently Quirkless last year. That's almost unheard of! Yagi slams his palm on the table, catching the attention of everyone.
Yagi: THAT is what i wish to discuss! There is only one way i know of in order to get a Quirk this late in life! You see, there's this villain i fought named... All for One. He has the Meta Ability to steal and give people Quirks. Five years ago, i just barely defeated him, and he gave me these injuries, limiting the time i can stay as All Might...
Yagi lifts his shirt up, to reveal a nasty purple bruise covering the left side of his stomach. Cementoss grimaces at the sight, still not used to Yagi's injury. Yagi's eyes turn blue as he gains a look of seriousness.
Yagi: but i believe he has come back, and is using this kid to get closer to me and gather knowledge...
The U.A staff all look between each other, not entirely sure what their next move should be.
Aizawa:... i don't buy it. Sure, his lack of a Quirk is odd, but i wouldn't say that he's a villain.
Snipe: but we can't rule out the possibility just yet, can we? I mean, he's way too joyful for his personality to be natural, since his family's gone...
Midnight: i'm sure he's moved on, and is trying not to be a letdown? It is far too early to make this sort of judgement.
Present-Mic: All Might himself said it though...
Aizawa: every point he's made can be easily dismissed by facts and logic. But, i suppose with the evidence you've provided we can't fully ignore the possibility... ugh... what are you planning to do?
Aizawa pinches the bridge of his nose, hating this entire discussion.
Yagi: i've already gotten permission from the principal to pull him out during lunch. Mr. Aizawa, i want you to bring him here, and i want all of you present. Is that clear?
Present-Mic: 'hey, that rhymed!'
Aizawa sighs heavily as the other teachers agree. He hates to do this, but it's at least worth it to clear up the confusion. The staff all break off into their own business, and Yagi leaves the teachers' lounge. As he walks down the hall, he ponders over the situation at hand.
Yagi: 'Young Y/n... he's the boy i entrusted into taking care of Young Midoriya. This could be bad, i may have led him straight to One for All! I fell right into his trap... But, then again, he may be a special case, entirely unrelated to All for One. Either way...
That kid cannot be left unchecked!'
