The school day is about to start. Everyone in Class 1-A is in their seats and ready for their day of learning. Well, everyone except...
Uraraka: hey, has anyone seen Y/n yet?
Frog-Girl: nope, i think he's running late again. Ribbit.
Kaminari: yeah, okay, what IS it with him being just on time every single day? This is, like, the fourth time since school started!
Thick-Elbows: right? Watch, he'll run through that door righttttt... now!
On the boys command, the door to 1-A flies open, and in comes Y/n. The class silently watches as Y/n stumbles in and hunches over, trying to catch his breath. The boy throws his fist to the air in celebration.
Thick-Elbows: called it!
Y/n: hey... everyone... sorry, i would've been... on time, but... man, those reporters outside were relentless...
Iida stands up from his seat and chops the air like a robot.
Iida: Y/n, it is pivotal that you learn to manage your time better!
Y/n: yeah, i... i'm working on it...
Y/n takes a deep breath and waltzes over to his desk, slouching and leaning his head back once he takes a seat. Aizawa walks into class, as usual, and homeroom begins, as usual.
The day goes by as usual as well. Although the teachers give Y/n... troubled looks, as they teach his classes. Shrugging this off, Y/n heads into 1-A for his final period before lunch, and Aizawa walks in, as usual. Im sure you get the point, it's the first normal school day for Y/n. So far.
Aizawa: sorry about the late notice, but today i'll have you...
Aizawa pauses for dramatic effect, causing the class to grow uneasy.
Aizawa:... decide on a class representative.
1-A: 'it's actually a normal school activity!'
The class breaks out into cheers. Everyone all around the room stands up and tries to convince Aizawa to let them be class rep, very loudly. Even Bakugo, which surprises Y/n. But not Midoriya, or Y/n for that matter. Iida stands up in his seat again.
Iida: silence, please!
The classroom falls silent instantly, and everyone turns towards Iida in curiosity. Iida raises his hand the highest out of everyone.
Iida: it is a job with the serious responsibility of leading others! It is not a job for just anyone who wants to do it. It is a calling that requires the trust of those around you. If we want to use democracy to decide on a true leader... then we should hold an election to choose one!
The class "huh"s in interest. The frog girl puts a finger to her chin and tilts her head.
Frog-Girl: but we haven't known eachother for that long, so how can we have trust or anything?
Red-Hair: if thats the case, and everyone votes for themselves-
Iida: dont you think that is precisely why whoever recieves the most votes here can be considered the most suitable?
Iida turns to Aizawa, who is getting ready for bed in his yellow sleeping bag, zipping it up to his neck.
Iida: what do you think, Mr. Aizawa?
