At an abandoned bar somewhere in Musutafu, a purple warp gate opens, and three people exit it. Shigaraki, filled with 4 bullet holes, Kurogiri and an unconscious Ami.
Shigaraki: ouch... i was shot in both arms and both legs, we lost completely... even Nomu was defeated! All the underlings were defeated in an instant. Ami nearly broke out of her control. The Lethal Protector, Venom, decided to show up. Those kids were strong... the Symbol of Peace was healthy...
Shigaraki looks up to a black screen, hatred visible through his mask.
Shigaraki: you were wrong, Master!
???-1: no, i wasn't. We were just not prepared enough.
???-2: hmm... yes, we underestimated them. It's good we did it under that cheap "League of Villains" name. By the way, what about Master and my joint creation, Nomu?
???-1: he was not retrieved?
Kurogiri:... he was blown away.
???-2: what?!
Kurogiri: more precisely, without coordinates to his precise location, i could not find him, even with my warp.
Kurogiri walks over to the screen and steps over the 2 bodies lying on the floor.
Kurogiri: i did not have time for that.
???-2: after all we did to make him as powerful as All Might!
???-1: well, i suppose it cannot be helped. That's unfortunate.
Shigaraki: power... that's right, there was one child who was as fast as All Might.
???-1: oh?
Shigaraki: if he hadn't gotten in the way, we might have been able to kill All Might.
As the adults continues their conversation, Ami slowly regains consciousness. With the part of the mask that's broken, she opens her eyes, an image of a panicked Y/n appearing in her mind.
Ami: 'Y/n... you've grown so much... i'm sorry i wasn't there to see it happen... and i'm sorry you were left alone.'
Ami closes her eyes and lets a tear fall from her eye.
Ami: 'i want to see you again, Y/n.'

Y/n: WHY DIDN'T YOU LET ME SAVE HER, VENOM?!
Y/n has just made it home after trying his best to not break down in front of the class and police officers who were at the scene. Venom is poking out of Y/n's shoulder and is face-to-face with him.
Y/n: SHE WAS RIGHT THERE! IF YOU'D LET ME GO EARLIER, SHE'D BE HERE RIGHT NOW!
Venom: I'm sorry! But you would've gotten hurt-
Y/n: HURT? THERE IS NOTHING THAT COULD HURT ME MORE THAN HAVING HER JUST WITHIN MY SIGHT! AND THEN... and then... not being able to save her...
Y/n collapses onto the ground and curls up against the wall, his anger turning to sadness as tears threaten to fall from his eyes. Venom wraps parts of himself around Y/n as a way to try and comfort him.
Venom: Y/n, i'm not very good at cheering people up.
Y/n sits up, curling his legs to his chest and hiding his face in them.
Y/n: then don't try to.
Venom: hey, let's try to find any positives to the situation. Your school persona would.
Y/n looks up in absolute shock at what Venom suggested to him.
Y/n: positives?! There are no positives to the situation here! My sister's mind controlled by villains, said villains escaped, and i was too... WEAK, to save her...
