Chapter 1

Nathaniel was a shy and insecure kinda guy. He didn't like showing people his drawings, didn't like talking to anyone unless they were his close friends or if the situation deemed it. But for one, no matter who you are or what has happened, Nathaniel was the first person anyone in the class went to if a vent was in order.

He listened to everyone.

He listened when Adrien talked about how his life seemed like a game to his father.

When Alya started to question her passion for blogging and wondering if she was really a good choice for Nino.

When Rose wanted to talk to someone about her illness.

When Juleka needed to cry about her parents fighting, even after getting on good terms, and about how her brother, Luka, seemed to be distancing himself.

Marinette; when she couldn't quite understand why she felt so conflicted with her emotions towards Kagami even when she was persistent that she loved Adrien.

Fuck. He even listen when Chloe thought she was being a burden to everyone, and thought Sabrina was only sticking around her because Chloe's dad was Mayor and didn't really have any other friends.

But one person he refused to give the time or day for was Lila. She was an evil, conniving, lying bitch that harassed Adrien, ostracized Marinette and picked on Alix for their size and identity. But it was the icing on the cake when she tore apart one of his drawings after he caught her alone and called her out on her bullshit.

He was sitting in his seat, sketching during a free period, when he heard Lila talking outta her ass. Again.

"Hey, Nath!" She smiled as she and the rest of the class turned towards the boy.

"Hm...?" Nathaniel didn't even look up but turned his head in her direction to show that he was interested in what she was going to say.

"I noticed how good you've been getting with your art and was wondering if you would like me to set up a meet and greet with a manga artist who is extremely popular in Japan and everywhere in general...!"

"Who is it, Lila?" Nino questioned.

"The creator of My Hero Academia! Koyoharu Gotouge!"

"HA!" Nath laughed sharply with sarcasm.

"What are you laughing for, Nate?" Alix asked.

"I'm laughing at Lila!" Nate replied. He turned to face her and the only thought on his mind was; You fucking slipped on your own lie, you fucking bitch.

"Why?"

"Because Koyoharu Gotouge is the creator of Demon Slayer, not My Hero Academia. The creator of MHA is Kihei Horikoshi."

"Oops! My bad!" Lila giggled with embarrassment. "I got the names mixed up...! I know so many different manga artists that I tend to get their names muddled up."

Nathaniel's face fell to one that read; are you fucking with me right now?! You only said that to cover up your failed lie.

"Whatever. I'm going to the library." Nathaniel packed up his things before he stood and made his way to the said location.

As he walked, he crashed into a figure with raven black hair. Both of them dropped what ever they were holding; Nathaniel's sketches scattering and pages  filled with words in the mix.

"I-I'm s-so s-s-sorry...!" The voice fretted.

"Don't worry about it." Nathaniel laughed lightly as he shook his head. "I should've been looking where I was going and-" Nate picked up one of the latter's pages and scanned over the writing. "Oh, wow...! This... This is really good...!" Nate held out his hand to give the page back.

"Oh, uh... Th-Thanks...! Your drawings are amazing, to!" The boy replied, trying to gather the pages of his own work. "The way that you can create such extravagant emotions with such simple poses are outstanding and-"

When the boys stood, the made eye contact. Nathaniel caught his eye colour to be a shamrock green. Nathaniel had never met someone with such an elegant shade of green before. It wasn't even the colour he used to colour Chat Noir's eyes in his comic. His were more of an emerald green.

On the other hand, Marc was lost in the latter's own eyes. He couldn't quite describe the colour though, it seemed lighter than sky blue but darker than ice blue.

The two of them stared into each other's eyes for a few moments before snapping to reality, and turning away with furious blushes in their faces.

"Uh... I-I'm N-Nathan-iel...!" He stammered. "N-Nathaniel K-Kurtszberg...!"

"N-Nice t-to m-m-met y-you...! "I-I'm M-Marc A-A-Anciel...!"

The two stayed silent before the both chorused with a simultaneous goodbye before going in different directions. As Nathaniel walked, he mentally cursed himself for running into Marc and, for some unknown reason, act like Marinette when she's around Adrien.

'What's wrong with me...?!' He grumbled as he sat at an empty desk in the library. 'I just met that guy so why is he making my heart race, my words to twist and my face to get hot?!' he pulled out some paper, pencils and pen and began to sketch. 'Stupid beautiful green eyes... stupid beautiful black raven hair and tanned skin... stupid pink, kissable pink lips...'

Nate stopped sketching and stared for a bit. He didn't realise that he had added colour to the picture. The picture he had drawn of... Marc.

'Well shit... This is one picture that will never see the light of day again.' Nathaniel grabbed the picture and shoved it inside his bag. He would be mortified if someone saw this image. Especially Lila. 'Homophobic, motherfucking bitch...!'

Nathaniel shook his head and headed back to class as the bell sounded. He didn't want to think of him but that was the thing. His mind wouldn't listen and soon Marc was all he could think about as he sat in Ms. Mendeleiev's science class. With an inaudible sigh, he tried to pay attention and push Marc to the back of his mind...

So this is my first Miraculous Ladybug and Cat Noir story with a canon LGBTQ ship. And they are fucking adorable.

Hope you enjoyed!

Also, Marc is cannonly genderfluid and gay and in a relationship with Nathaniel. I also know that Nathaniel liked Marinette but Nathaniel is Bisexual.
