Chapter 15- Shocked by Todoroki

Third Person:

Uraraka made goblin noises until she hit something.

Uraraka: Ow!

She looked up and saw she hit a wall. She ended up outside of UA's walls.

How did I end up here?

Uraraka then looked up and saw something shiny.

What's that?

Uraraka activated her quirk and floated up there. It was silver metal frame.

A vent window! Could I...

Uraraka pulled as hard as she could and managed to open the vent. She made the frame float to and held it as she flew into the vent. She deactivated her quirk, and then tried to put the window back.

After many attempts, she finally got the window to sit up.

Finally! That took forever. Let's see what's in here.

Uraraka began to crawl through the vent.

Wait, if this vent system reaches the entire school, then I could probably get access to every part of UA! That's so cool! This could help me track down rivals... and I can spy from a distance. See? Goblin noises are amazing! Let's see if I can find a shortcut to class with this.

Uraraka crawled through the vents, claiming it as her territory.

~Meanwhile~

Midoriya: Your father's what?

Yaoyorozu: My father was going to partner up with the owner of another business but his son went missing at Uraraka's house. And I heard you were there. Plus Uraraka would never kill anyone.

Todoroki: That's a biased comment...

Midoriya: Who are you talking about?

Yaoyorozu: Kēki.

Midoriya looked at Yaoyorozu with a stressed face.

Fuck. I didn't know that Uraraka's grandma was friends with business people! Just play it cool.

Midoriya: So am I really the other person you could think of?

Yaoyorozu: Well...

Midoriya: One: Kēki is reported missing, not dead. There is no evidence that he was killed. Two: I would never kill anyone. It's my dream to be a hero, not a villain. Three: I've literally been in a car accident and I was kidnapped, and you have the nerve to question me after all the shit I've been through in the past few months. Why Yaoyorozu? Why?

Todoroki:...

Yaoyorozu:...

Midoriya: Got nothing to say?

Yaoyorozu: Midoriya... I'm not trying to blame you, if that's what you're thinking. I just simply wanted answers. I hope you recover from everything you've been through.

Yaoyorozu left, leaving Todoroki and Midoriya alone.

Midoriya turned around and faced Todoroki.

Midoriya: Where were we?

Todoroki: Uraraka's gone and she's the killer.

Midoriya: We'll for the first part... Uraraka has cravings...

Todoroki: Maybe she-

The bell rang, cutting Todoroki off, and signaling that it was time for classes to begin.

Todoroki: I'll see you at lunch Midoriya.

Midoriya: Mhm.

Todoroki left and Midoriya went inside not too long after. He had Vlad King next.

On his way in he thought about his conversation with Todorki.

I wonder where Uraraka went.

Midoriya stopped when he heard giggling in the vent above him.

Midoriya: Oh.

Uraraka jumped down and sighed of relief.

Uraraka: It's just you Deku! Hey, why was Yaoyorozu talking to you?

Midoriya: She wanted to know if I knew anything about Kēki. Her dad knew his.

Uraraka: Oh. I hope they find him soon. He seemed nice.

Midoriya: That's a biased comment...

Uraraka: ...Anyway, what about you and Todoroki? You guys are close nowadays.

Midoriya: We were talking about the UA killer.

Uraraka: Oh. It might be Todoroki himself. I see how he looks at me.

Midoriya: Why would it be... he looks at you?

Uraraka: Yeah. It kind of feels like he's undressing me with his eyes.

Midoriya:...

...I don't know what to say. Todoroki, by best friend, likes Uraraka, my girlfriend?!

I gotta go talk to this bastard.

Midoriya angrily walked up to Todoroki. He was sitting by himself at lunch.

Midoriya: Why the hell are you trying to undress Uraraka?!

Todoroki: ...What?

Midoriya: Uraraka said that you're trying to undress her.

Todoroki: Midoriya. I want to see Uraraka behind bars.

Midoriya: That doesn't explain why you're trying to undress her.

Todoroki: I'm not. I would never try to undress anyone.

(They're both so dense it hurts)

Todoroki: Besides, I don't like Uraraka anymore.

Midoriya dropped his tray on the table. It was already low so the food didn't go flying everywhere.

Uraraka... was liked... by... this baboon?!

Midoriya You liked her... and you didn't tell me?!

Todoroki: I was gonna but it was obvious she liked you, as much as you used to like her back, so I didn't . And I no longer like her. She killed people.

Midoriya:...

Midoriya: I see...
