Chapter 17- What he forgot

Todoroki hasn't been seen by anyone all day. His dorm is locked so nobody can go in it, and his family can't contact him.

And Midoriya and Uraraka were celebrating this wonderful event.

Well, Midoriya was celebrating, Uraraka was just confused.

But she had more important things to take care of. Like figuring out how to find the knife she lost and getting rid of the girl Midoriya was talking to.

Midoriya: Thanks for the pen, but you don't have to give me anything for something so small.

Girl: Please, I insist! Besides, I don't need it anyway.

Midoriya: If you say so... I'm gonna get going now. See ya!

Girl: Bye!

Midoriya walked to class and Uraraka stared at that girl from the distance.

Well murder is out of the picture. How can I get rid of this girl? The more people die, the more the students get suspected so maybe I should try to appear more innocent.

Uraraka stared at the girl who sighed and then uncomfortably closed her jacket and walked away.

She looked upset. Maybe I could use this to my advantage.

Uraraka followed the girl throughout the hallway. She had a few minutes before class started so there was time to use.

The girl didn't go to her classroom, like Uraraka thought she would. Instead she went to the end of a hallway where nobody was.

Uraraka hid behind some boxes and saw that the girl she was about to spy on started crying. She then opened up her phone and began talking to someone on the phone.

Maybe I should listen to her conversation. I could get some information about her that could help me eliminate her. But what's her name?

Uraraka listened to what the girl was saying on her phone call.

Girl: Listen, I'm not in the mood to be talking to you today! I'm at school and- huh?!

The girl stopped talking for a few seconds.

Girl: Wait! Listen, UA's situation is messy right now. I'm scared for my own life. So please... leave me alone for a bit. God!

The girl hanged up and sighed. Uraraka went away and made her way to class.

That girl is getting suspicious calls like that one rival I had. What was her name? Meh...

Uraraka made it to her classroom and went through the day like she normally would.

~Timeskip~

On her way to the dorms, someone touched her shoulder.

Uraraka: Hm?

Tako: Hey Uraraka! We haven't spoken in a while, how are you?

Uraraka: I'm good... is there something you wanted to tell me?

Tako: Nope! Just wanted to say hi! How's your day been?

Uraraka: It's been good, except for one thing.

Tako and Uraraka stop walking.

Tako: What is it?

Uraraka: There's this girl who I think is being bothered at school. I accidentally overheard her take a phone call which she didn't want to have, and she was crying before she took it. I want to help her but I don't know her name.

Tako: Oh... what does she look like?

The girls begin to walk again.

Uraraka: She had long white hair with pink streaks, magenta eyes, and gold star shaped earrings.

Tako: Oh! She may be Rakai! She's in my homeroom! She has been pretty distant lately. Maybe you could help her, like how you helped me!

Uraraka stared at Tako with light in her eyes. Out of all of the rivals, Tako was the only one she befriended.

Uraraka: I'll try to...

Tako: Oh. I guess this where we part ways. Bye!

Uraraka: Bye!

The two girls separate and go to their dorm rooms.

~Timeskip~

Midoriya was sitting in his bedroom until he heard a knock on the door. He got up and went to go answer it. He was surprised to see Kirishima.

Kirishima: Hey Midobro!

Midoriya: Kirishima? What're you doing here?

Kirishima: I wanted to ask if you've heard from Todoroki. He hasn't been seen since yesterday, and you two have been hanging out a lot.

Midoriya: Unfortunately, I haven't seen him since yesterday either. I was gonna go to his room but the door was locked.

Kirishima: It's been locked since yesterday? Geez, I wonder why...

Midoriya: Same, I hope he's okay.

Kirishima: Same. He said he's been working on this big project that he was going to show us tomorrow. I hope we get to see it.

That's when it hit Midoriya.

Midoriya: Big... project?

Kirishima: Mhm! He said he's going to present a video to everyone in the entire school during our lunch. I'm excited to see what it is.

Midoriya: ...Oh, yeah. I'm excited too.

Kirishima: Well I hope we get to see it. Thanks Midoriya.

Midoriya:...

Kirishima left the room, unable to see the panicking Izuku.

Fuck! I completely forgot about the video! If everyone sees it, it'll be over for Uraraka!
