And here I thought the most comfortable place to sleep is the branch on the highest tree.
His voice echoed in her mind. It had been a while that she had dreams of him, the mysterious man that would show up occasionally.
You are a dream. Lu Si reminded herself.
The mysterious man smiled.
I can feel that you're smiling at me but I can't see it? Why is it always so elusive? I see your lips moving, but what are you saying? Who is she?
Ya Rong.
Why only when I ask about her then I can hear your voice? My heart hurt so much.
Kill her! Don't let her escape! She has the —.
What did I take? Why are you chasing after me? Did I take something I shouldn't?
Lu Si groaned, shaking her head with furrowed brows. She was sweating with an intense headache. She wanted to open her eyes, but there was a heavy scent of perfume lingering in the air that sedated her. In an attempt to wake herself up she counted from one to seven, and in those seven seconds she moved her inner energy around the body, eventually consolidating them so she could use as a burst.
[ BANG! ]
The door of Lu Si's room busted opened. The clangs and clatters of items became clearer. The voices that was echoing became roars, and Lu Si woke up with a gasp.
"Get up!" Lu Si heard a woman's voice, and felt a hand grabbing her arm. "Hurry!"
When Lu Si turned to look she saw a young girl about her size with face covered, fighting against many people. Lu Si grabbed her handkerchief underneath her pillow to tie around her face. Though it was not much but it helped blocking her inhaling the sedated fumes. She went straight into the brawls.
"Who are they?" She asked the girl.
"Don't know, but they're here to abduct people."
"Abduct?" Lu Si knew immediately that it was the bandits. "It's the border's bandits."
As the two girls took care of the many masked men, down below in the lobby the owners screamed for help. "THEY TOOK OUR DAUGHTER!!"
The two girls looked at each other before they split up: Cai Ying down the lobby while Lu Si through the window of her room.

Wu Lei peruse every pieces of documents at his desk while waiting for the news. He was expecting them to deal with this within a few hours, no longer than the lasting of the night. Yet, it had been hours and still no lead of where this Miss Zhao was. Hua Hua and Su Su went in to give him late night snacks, but also to kneel and apologize. Although sometimes he could be harsh, he was still a gentle Master to them. They feel bad whenever they messed up their job and would coax him with his favorite snack.
"Tell me, everything that you've observed about this Miss Zhao in the past weeks."
"Your Highness," Hua Hua started, "This Miss Zhao is quite interesting. Although she was very weak she wouldn't let anyone help her around. She would take walks whenever she thought she could. She didn't eat much of the food we give her. Although she was very quiet, she remembered everyone's name and position if she is in contact with them. However, when she go out of her room she would wear a mask. Only in her own room where Su Su, the doctor and I can see her face. Everyone else would only see a mask or a veil."
"She also take in a pet rabbit!" Su Su quickly chimed in.
"A pet rabbit?" Wu Lei asked.
Hua Hua looked at Su Su and signaled to her to go get the bunny. She turned back to Wu Lei and continued, "She caught a white bunny somewhere around the courtyard. Instead of releasing or making food out of it she brought it back and named it."
