WEDNESDAYS VISION, chapter twelve
❝You're not scared of me?❞
Wednesday wasn't dumb, she could tell that there was something about Odette that she didn't know yet, something that she wanted to figure out. She had tried touching all her books and her bed to see if a vision occurred but when she walked into her room for writing time and she saw Odette on her bed crying she didn't know what to do.
Was she supposed to be a shoulder to cry on, she didn't know how to do that.
She didn't know how to do many things when it came to friendships.
She'd never had a friend before.
And now one of her first many 'acquaintances was crying on her bed'
Odette caught her staring and sat up "If you want I can go into another room so I don't disrupt your writing time?" she sniffed
"no"
"oh" Odette said before wiping her face again "then what do you want to do?" Odette asked and Wednesday tried to practise her words into her head. "I want to know" she started off, breathing in because she felt pathetic "why you" she paused again "are upset" she finished quickly.
"Want to have a heart to heart?" Odette questioned.
"I do like ripping hearts" Wednesday said nodding her head and sitting on Odette's bed carefully. "I'll do this quickly but it might be a lot to take in" Odette instructed, accidently placing her hand on Wednesdays knee which caused her to throw her head back again.
