Stepping into the car Odette was surprised to see Tyler sitting at the wheel and so was Enid "he's our Uber?" she asked "Uber?" he said "I thought this was a date?" he asked Wednesday and Odette stared at him with furrowed brows "no Wednesday said this is girls night" she said before turning her head to Wednesday.
"There's been a change of plans" she said "you tricked us?" Odette asked "you tricked me this morning" she shot back and Odette leaned back in her seat.
"What's up with the weird matching hoodie scarf things?"
"don't ask ── just drive"
Odette pulled out her phone and decided to text Eli about his brothers whereabouts since after their phone call he seemed worried.
She was expecting an almost immediate response but it never came. when she pulled her head up from her phone she saw Tyler looking at her through the front mirror though he looked away when she caught him.
She quirked her head at him but shook it down.
He was probably just asleep.
When they arrived to their destination Odette's hairs pricked up "Seriously, you want to go in there?" Enid asked "yeah Wednesday this is another level of creepy" Odette nodded and she just walked by them "I know" she smiled before opening the gate.
"This isn't what I signed up for" Tyler said "ditto" Odette and Enid said in sync.
"I didn't want to celebrate my birthday by going to a dinner or surprise party ───I want to do this"
