Working in the Weathervane wasn't hard for Odette. Since it was the middle of the day and the town wasn't so populated there really wasn't a rush hour. The girl stood behind the counter most of the time whilst Enid texted her the details of her and Ajax's day. Enid sent her a photo of the two holding combs and had a dead stuffed rat in the middle.
"Xavier come here" she beckoned the boy who was currently sweeping up the floor to past time "what is it?" he asked whilst placing the broom on the wall "It's Enid and Ajax" she sang out teasingly as Ajax was his best friend "he was so excited when he saw Enid walk in, he told me all about it" Xavier explained as he walked over, putting his head over Odette's shoulder to see the picture which he grinned at.
Tyler came out of the kitchen with a blueberry muffin and the two pretended to start doing work. "Aah my favourite workers" he laughed before turning "you don't have to pretend to do stuff, there is literally nobody inside" he pointed out as they both looked around.
"yeah except for creepy dude at the back" Odette sighed turning her head towards the corner where a man in a big black coat sat trying to make a house out of his waffles.
"Don't act like you've never done the same" Xavier laughed as Odette put her mouth into an 'O' shape, offended Odette sighed "that was one time-" "you spilled maple syrup onto Ajax's jacket"
"And surprisingly that is how we became friends" she laughed as Xavier joined along, Tyler just watching in amusement.
"Well if you guys are done flirting I'm gonna join Eli in the kitchen"
