❐chapter:: 12

The next morning Yoongi woke up to a heavy headache. He couldn't sleep properly last night since the sofa he slept on was totally worn out and the armrest he placed his head on was hard. The traveling he did last night to reach his grandmother's house, also wore him out. Even though Yoongi slept, he was still very much tired.

Yoongi slowly blinked his eyes open, his eyes burning every time he closed his eyelids. Yoongi hated Migraine. They are like a pain in the ass. Oh how badly he wanted to go back to sleep again but he knows he can't. He is a grown up man after all, and he has work to do.

He slapped his palm over his mouth as he yawned out loudly, lazily stretching his limbs out in the air. He scanned his eyes around the room lazily, almost forgetting where he was and why he was even there.

That's when an unpleasant, foul-smell reached his nostrils. He pinched his nose shut with his index finger and thumb. Yoongi checked for the source of this unpleasant smell and realised it was his grandmother. She was sitting in her wheelchair next to her bed, the exact same place he left her yesterday. He knew that she had wet herself because of the obvious pool of pee he saw under her wheelchair. He had a strong doubt that she might have even done something more than just peeing, because the foul smell lingering in the room said it all.

Yoongi sighed out loudly. He had to find someone as quickly as possible, who can look after his grandmother for a while.

He is even willing to give a handsome amount of money to whoever is going to help him take care of his grandmother, well- not Yoongi but his younger brother would be paying. That guy loves his grandmother as much as Yoongi does. All this while when Yoongi was in Daegu training to become a priest as well as practicing exorcism, his brother was the one who looked after the old lady before moving out of the house and leaving her with a caretaker for a while- because the guy too needed to get settle in his life.

He slowly moved his gaze back at his grandmother and taking this as a chance Yoongi looked at his grandmother carefully. Reading her behavior properly. She was sitting on her wheelchair quietly, staring at the ground and looked absolutely normal just like every other blind old person.

Yoongi was one hundred percent sure that his grandmother was not possessed by any demon or spirit. She was just in the last stage of her life. He knew his grandmother's end was near. Very near. He just doesn't know exactly when she will pass away.

"Grandma. . ." The young priest calls out in a soft voice, trying not to scare away the blind old lady. His grandmother slowly raised her head up and gave a bright smile, wrinkles forming all over her face. Completely opposite to how she was, when she was a teenager. No longer the young beauty.

"Ma... Ma..." She calls out in a broken voice. "Mama... you look so pretty and young."

Yoongi looked at her with confusion written all over his face. The blind lady raised her hands up in the air and tried to hold onto something which Yoongi couldn't quite point out exactly what. He noticed her caressing someone's face in the air. Smiling to herself.

"Grandma... Who are you talking to?" He inquired, her behavior was now creeping him out. "Who is it? Tell me."

"My mother... She came to take me along with her." The blind old lady says with a chuckle. Yoongi was shocked to hear that. He gulped harshly and immediately fished his phone out his pocket, dialing his brother's number.

He left his grandmother in the room who was again talking to her 'mother' as she said, and came into the living room, waiting for his brother to pick up the call.

"Hello YoHan." Yoongi says, as soon as his younger brother picked up his call. "Hello brother, what is it? I'm surprised that you suddenly called me. How are you?"
