02: For god's sake believe me

It was completely silent when suddenly, Jungkook woke up abruptly with a sound of glass crashing on the floor. He looked around the dark, dull room and tried to sit up straight. He slowly placed Taehyung's head on the pillow which was resting on his right arm.

Jungkook took his phone which was kept beside his pillow and checked the time. It was currently 2:14 am. Who would make such noise at this hour?

He badly flinched when he heard a ear deafening scream from outside the chamber. As if someone was dying in pain. Anybody could make out that the person was in great pain. Jungkook closed his ears shut with his hands tightly. The felt the bed he was sitting on slightly tremble by the powerful scream. When he felt the scream slowly dying down, he removed his hands off his ears. Only to realise there was blood on both his palm. He literally got ear bleeding by this mysterious person's scream.

He looked at Taehyung beside him and was shocked to see the male sleeping peacefully, totally unaffected by the scream. The male looked so peaceful in his sleep that he didn't even moved an inch.

How was that even possible?! Jungkook wondered.

He climbed down the bed and set his feet on the cold floor, a chill ran down his spine at the cold feeling under his feet.

Jungkook ignored the feeling by quickly wearing his shoes and lit a lantern which he found laying in the room in the evening, along with some other useful items. There were no lights in the room except the lanterns which were placed everywhere on the walls.

As soon as the lantern, kept on the table was lit and the room was slightly bright, he saw a mysterious shadow crawling on the wall, near Taehyung's sleeping figure which quickly disappeared in a blink of an eye.

Jungkook slightly jumped back in horror at the mysterious creepy looking shadow on the wall. There were only two people present in the room which was his husband Taehyung and himself. Taehyung was fast asleep while Jungkook was standing still in his place.

Then whose shadow was it on the wall?

'that's strange' he thought.

As he was standing there like a statue in his place, wondering about the shadow when suddenly Jungkook heard some whispering in the corridor outside. He slowly walked over to the door and placed his ear on the door to listen what's going out there.

Curiousity got the best of him and he wanted to see with his own eyes what was actually going on. Just listening to them wasn't enough so this time he poked his head out of the door to see what was going on outside.

To Jungkook's surprise, he saw nuns walking in a straight line in the corridor, opposite to the one he was in, each holding a lantern in their hand and other hand occupied by a rosary. It was the first time he saw nuns in this very Convent.

Not one or two but atleast 25 to 30 of them maximum. Jungkook found each of the nuns' behaviour creepy and suspicious.

What were they even doing at this unimaginable hour at night?

He saw all of them walking down the corridor and into a big old door. Curiosity killed the cat, and due to his growing curiousity he followed behind them, making sure not to make any sound and get caught.

Once he reached the big old wooden door, Jungkook placed the lantern down near his legs and peeked inside the room and saw the nuns kneeling down on the floor infront of the big crucifix in the room. It was the place of worship. The prayer hall.

Jungkook watched them silently cry while praying, their voices slowly growing louder. It was going all okay, until...

Until one of the nun fell down on the floor, all of a sudden.
