Four years had passed since Taehyung and Jungkook left Jeonju and settled into their new life in Busan. Surprisingly, Taehyung's father never came to search for them. They were happy together in their apartment and had found a peace that they never thought was possible. The scars from their past still lingered, but they were healing over time.
Society had slowly started to become more accepting of the LGBTQ community, and Taehyung and Jungkook felt grateful for the shift in their attitudes. They no longer felt like they had to hide their love for each other. They could hold hands and walk side by side without fear of judgment.
One day, Taehyung had received a call from his old friend Jimin, who had just moved to Seoul for a better life. They met up for coffee and caught up on everything that had happened since they last saw each other. Jimin noticed the change in Taehyung, he had a confidence he had never seen before. He had a shine in his eyes.
"Taehyung, you seem different. You look so happy. What's your secret?" Jimin couldn't help but ask.
Taehyung smiled warmly at his friend. "Jungkook and I have started working and earning good enough, and are just happy in our life. We don't have to hide who we are anymore, and it's amazing!" He exclaimed with joy.
Jimin's smile faded slightly. "I wish Yoongi could feel the same way."
Taehyung raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
Jimin hesitated before continuing, "Yoongi quit being a priest and moved to Seoul with me, after you guys left Jeonju. It took him quite some time to tell this to his head priest. He's working for a company now, and we're back together again."
Taehyung couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Really? Yoongi is out of the priesthood?"
Jimin nodded, "It wasn't an easy decision for him, but once he came out to me, he realized that he couldn't live a lie anymore. He's more than happy now. He found people who love and support him, and that's all that matters."
Tears welled up in Taehyung's eyes as he thought back to the day he and Jungkook were possessed by the demon. They had feared for their lives and had nobody to turn to. Now, years later, Yoongi had found acceptance and support, and it filled Taehyung with hope.
"Jimin, that's amazing. I'm so happy for you both," Taehyung said, his voice choked up with emotion.
As they parted ways, Taehyung couldn't help but feel grateful for the progress that society had made. Acceptance and understanding were becoming more widespread, and it gave him hope for a brighter future.
The years had been kind to Taehyung and Jungkook. They had found a love that was unbreakable, and it only grew stronger with each passing day. They had overcome their demons, both internal and external, and it was all worth it to be together.
Later that night, the hot water cascaded down Taehyung's back, soothing his tensed muscles, as he stood under the showerhead, his arms wrapped tightly around Jungkook's waist. Jungkook snuggled closer, resting his head on Taehyung's shoulder, his fingers tracing light patterns on Taehyung's arms.
It had been a long, exhausting day, and they were both looking forward to the warmth of their bed. But for now, they took their time, savoring each other's touch, and the comfort that came from being so close.
