Season II

Prologue

"Ella!" Amelia yells through their new apartment "we gotta go!"

"I'm coming A!" Ella responds rushing down the hall.

"We're going to be late our first day because of you!" Amelia grabs the cups of coffee she made and her keys rushing out the door with Ella close behind.

"I didn't know what box my pants were in." Ella tries to explain her lateness.

Amelia sighs knowing she could never stay mad at her best friend since kindergarten. "I understand E."

Amelia hands over her friend's coffee and watches as Ella's face lights up with joy and appreciation. "I love you so much!" Ella exclaims taking a sip of it as she takes her seat in the passenger side of Amelia's black dodge charger.

"Eh I guess I love you." The brunette jokes receiving a mocking glare from her friend causing her to snort.

Amelia Parker was a beautiful brunette with chocolate brown eyes, she was 30 years of age and had just moved to LA with her best friend Ella Lopez. The pair had gotten into some trouble back home and decided it was time to change, so they went to college to me forensic scientist and help solve crime and where now transferred to LAPD.

Amelia was an outcast in her family, her dad left when she was nine and her mom pretty much ignored her, so the Lopez family became her family and they consider her a part of it.

Ella and Amelia where two different people, Ella was bubbly and filled with joy whereas Amelia, she was a bit darker, she was the serious one in the duo and smiled occasionally which was mainly around Ella. Ella brought a different side of Amelia out which was a big part of their friendship, they completed each other like a ying and yang.

"Are you ready for out first day?" Ella questions taking a sip of her coffee.

"Yeah, glad we're doing more then gambling."

Ella holds up her coffee cup with a smile. "Cheers to a new start checking out dead guys."

Amelia burst out laughing at her friend's last couple words before grabbing her cup and clicking in to her friend's "cheers."

"Alright here we are." Amelia parks her car and looks out to the building where her new job awaits. "Why am I nervous, we're the best scientists there is."

"Amen sister!" Ella chuckles nervously. "We got this A."

"Hell yeah we do." Amelia nods rushing out her car so she doesn't stay in there and turn around. "Let's get this show into the building."

"We can do this."

"Love the confidence E. Now let's go because if we stand here much longer we'll cower back into my car."

Ella nods and sets off inside the precinct because if they didn't they both knew they'd be fired.

"Are you Ella Lopez and Amelia Parker?" An officer questions once they make there way inside.

"Yes sir." Amelia answers with a nod.

"This way."

The officer showed the pair around and finally ended with their new office which they got to there selves.

"Oh my God we have our own office!" Ella exclaims looking around in awe.

"Seems so." Amelia chuckles

"You guys are the new forensic scientist?" A beautiful blonde questions stepping inside the small room.

"That's us." Ella smiles rushing over to give her a hug. "I'm Ella."

"E, she may not like hugs." Amelia tells her friend who quickly jumps off and apologizes.

"Oh no it's fine, I don't mind." The blonde holds up her hand indicating everything is alright. "I'm Chloe."

Amelia holds out her hand. "Amelia, pleasure to meet you."

"Pleasure." Chloe shakes the brunettes hand and smiles. "I'd introduce you to Lucifer, but lord knows where he is."

"Lucifer?" Amelia questions her eyebrows pinching together.

"Yeah, it's weird I know but he can be helpful."Chloe shrugs. "He's my civilian consultant, so pretty much my partner."

"I see." Amelia nods.

"Is there anything we could do?" Ella questions, she's been dying to do something since the pair decided to transfer.

"Sorry, we don't have anything that you two can do."

With those final words Chloe left the room leave the two girls to themselves and to set up their office how they saw fit.
