Chloe, Lucifer and Amelia arrived at some abandoned building that was poorly lit. When they found their way into the section their latest victim was found in they saw a shadow of a what seemed to be someone hanging on something like a cross with their hands pinned on either side— like he was crucified.

But when they got to the body it was but wasn't what they thought it would be. The man was sat on some makeshift barstool, his hands where channels on the ends of metal bars the speed out like a cross, there was something around his head keeping it held up and there was what looked to be an apple plugged in is mouth.

Chloe sighed as she held up her flashlight to the man's lifeless body. "Two murders. The same M.O." she stated as her eyes scanned the body before her and her partner's "but Tommy was already in custody when this guy was killed. There's no way he did this."

"Tommy wanted his dignity back." Lucifer added. "Whoever did this clearly had a much grander objective in mind."

"Torturing those who have wronged others." Amelia spoke, her eyes where wide and her eye brows where raised as she looked at the man. "Ladies and gentlemen, it seems we're looking for a serial killer."

Chloe and Amelia talked to some officers to gain information about the victim, and by the time they had a good gist of who the man was, Ella was there and taking pictures of the crime scene.

"Victim's Adam Wiser, 29." Chloe spoke, informing Lucifer of the information her and Amelia gathered.

"He worked as an assistant at a local bank." The brunette added. "Time of death was around two hours ago, but he's been missing for a couple days."

"Ooh," Lucifer muttered, looking down at the brunette in front of him. "That's a long time on a sex rack. Not a record, but quite impressive."

Chloe and Amelia ignored Lucifer's comment and focused on the scene before them.

"Ella, we know the cause of death?" Chloe inquired.

Ella was standing on the 'stage' Adam was found on and examining his body trying to pull information to hopefully find the killer. "Well, he's got broken ribs, a ruptured spleen and possible cranial bleeding, which would all totally suck." Ella answered. "And yet, this dude asphyxiated."

Amelia's brows furrowed as more questions rose in her.

"He was chocked with an apple?" Chloe inquired before Amelia could.

"No," Ella disagreed. "More like an orchard." She corrected, removing the metal collar that covered the victim's throat. When she did it was revealed that there where multiple apples shoved down Adam's throat which clearly caused a lack of oxygen and killed him. "We're gonna have to cut him open to get the rest." Ella told the three detectives who where disgusted and dumbfounded at the sight. "That's messed up."

Amelia walked up and stood next to her best friend and looked closer at the body and saw roughly the apples shoved down the deceased man's throat. "How is that even possible? Man that a different type of torture."

"Certainly brings new meaning to the term 'deep throat.'" Lucifer commented, looking at the body with furrowed brows.

"Why not just kill the guys?" Chloe questioned with a puzzled expression on her face. "Why all the pomp and circumstance?"

Lucifer spoke again, answering Chloe's question. "Our punisher's clearly sending a message. Perhaps if we find the video the apple boy's apologizing for, we'll know what that message is."

And idea sprouted in Chloe's brain and it was clear. She pushed the file of the latest murder into Lucifer's hands. "Hold this." She ordered as she pulled out her phone.
