Percy's P.O.V
I stood rooted to the ground as I saw them. The sky was red and the clouds were black. Smoke filled the air and the earth was on fire. Everyone was dead. Leo, Hazel, Piper, Jason, Frank, Thalia, Reyna, Nico, Grover, Clarrise, the Stoll's, Chiron, mom, Paul and the gods. Zeus' glassy eyes stared ahead, not focused. He had a shocked look on his face as he had died. My father was lying in a bloodied heap, spears and swords in his body. I searched around for her. Then I saw my Wise Girl. Her Drakon bone sword was sticking out of her chest. Blood dripped from her mouth and her eyes were unfocused. I ran to her and sat by her side. Tears were running down my face. Sobs wracked my body.
"P-percy..." I heard someone whisper. My head shot up and I saw Annabeth staring at me.
"Please don't leave me." I begged her.
"Y-you..." she began.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Traitor!" She spat. I blinked in shock.
"What?" I asked in surprise.
"You let us die. Why did you betray me?" She asked, eyes blazing.
"W-what? What do you mean?"
"You could've saved us, but you just let us die. Rot in Tartaraus." She spat then her eyes went glassy and she lay limp. I sat, shocked. My heart was broken. Everyone was dead and I could've saved them. My love died, believing that I had betrayed her. What have I done?
~Scene Change~
I stood in front of the doors of death. The air was like poison in my lungs and the ground shook. Thousands of monsters surrounded me. They were shouting and jeering at me. I put my hand in my pocket and searched for Riptide. But it wasn't there. I gulped. I have killed almost every monster, and now they all wanted revenge. All of the giants were grinning at me.
BoomWhat the hell was that?
BoomThere it is again.
BoomIs that what I think it is?
BoomNo...TARTARAUS.
"Well hello Perseus."
