"What do you want, Devlon."

The male behind her let out an amused hum. "I just came to tell you that.. certain actions will not go by unnoticed." Blue visibly stills, feeling the scars on her back start to burn at the memories of their so called punishments.

"I did nothing wrong." She states, not letting her voice waver even once as she tries keeping her shadows under control. They really have a mind of their own sometimes, and she didn't need them betraying her right now.

Devlon nods slowly, stepping up closer to her with wicked grin. "You wanna play it like that, whore?" He says slowly, nodding once again. Blue didn't falter once, glaring up at the much broader male in front of her as she kept her ground.

She was terrified, but the idea of amusing the thing in front of her by showing those emotions only made her feel sicker. "Yes, I do, 'cause I wanna know what I did wrong." She says softly, her voice calm which only furried the male in front of her even more.

She couldn't help the small smile tugging at the corner of her lips, tilting her head as she bat her eyelashes at him. "Well?" She asks softly. Devlon's face was worth it. The pure rage running over it a better entertainment then watching a human come face to face with a fae.

"I'll watch your back if I were you. And I'll watch it closely." Blue nods quickly, standing up straight as she salutes. "I will, sir. Thank you, sir." She says formaly, nodding at him as she smirks. The fae in front of her looked like he was gonna pounce on her right that very second, yet thought better of it and left without one more single word.

Blue shakes her head as she looks after him, only releasing the breath she was holding once she was sure he was gone. Annoyance bubbled inside her as everything from that day came crashing onto her.

It was mere minutes before she found herself at a small clearing in the woods. She had made herself a small training area years ago, and honestly, it was a relief to be able to train without people staring you down. And so the thick clothing she wore against the harsh weather was soon descarded onto the floor as she began her warming up.

For a few minutes she stretched, trying to get the stiffness to leave her body before she went through all the basic fighting stances. She couldn't recall the amount of times she has had to practice them before they had gotten perfect. The amount of times she had spied on the males to try and find a way to perfect herself more.

But it had payed off in the long run. She had been able to finnish the qualification track, and even though no one had been there to watch her. Knowing she managed to finish was enough for her, she didn't need people congratulating her for it.

She felt stupid when she crouched down and grabbed a wooden stick to serve as dagger. Her frustration visible in the way she moved through the many stances and fighting techniques. The longer she went on the rougher and harsher her attacks got and the more clumsy she became.

"Your footing is wrong." A voice sounded behind her once the sun started to sink behind the horizon. She huffed, ignoring the words as her shadows slipped away from her shoulders and to those of the male behind her. "leave me alone."

"How did she die?"

"Why would you fucking care, would it make a difference?" Blue calls, swirling around as she took in the Illyrian in front of her. "Why are you even here?" She asks, heart pounding behind her ribcage, and she was sure it wasn't because of the hours of training she just did.

"Because I'm your dad-"

"No, don't you fucking go there. You might be my father but you'll never be my dad! You lost that title the second you left me and my mom to die. And don't for even a second think I'm your fucking daughter." She calls harshly, bending down to grab her stuff from the ground, ready to get away from the man that only made her life more miserable.

"Blue.."

"Don't 'Blue' me! I want you to leave me the fuck alone!" She yells, groaning as she finally looks up to watch him properly. "You had a change, years ago, to make it all right again. To gain back our love and trust. To gain some sense of forgiveness. But you didn't. Instead you walked off and spend the rest of your miserable life in pure luxury." She says, frowning at herself for biting off like that.

Normally she was quite good at keeping her calm. Making it seem like nothing got to her when in reality she wanted to scream and yell. To cry out and break. Yet now not only this man managed to get these emotion out of her but that stupid son of his so called High Lord as well.

It was hard to calm down again, and even harder not to step forward and punch him straight in the gut. For years he left her to rot, never once looking back to see if she was even doing okay. To see how she was holding up or if she needed help. To learn her how to fight and get back up on her own. And now, just like that, she was supposed to act like everything was fine.

Azriel stood up straight, both hurt and anger flashing through his eyes as he stares down at her. The only way you would be able to see any emotion at all was because of those betraying eyes. Or his shadows, which were uncontrolably swirling around, looking like he wasn't even trying to keep them still.

When he say anything, Blue took it as her sign to continue. "Do you remember? When I was still a child, a literal baby? Do you remember I used to have wings, like you and mom?" She asks, raising an eyebrow. "Well?" She continues, tapping her foot angrily as she fkexes her hands in frustration.

"They took that from me, you wanna know why? I saved a young boy. We were playing by the mountain edge. He fell. I dove down eithout having flown a single time before and managed to save him. He ran to his parents, completely twisted the story as he cried out in fear." She starts, laughing softly at the memory.

"You think they listened, for even a second, when I told them I didnt throw him off of that edge? No, they didn't." She points out when he didn't answer, stepping closer to him as her shadows wrapped tightly around her arms. "So they ripped off my wings. No painkillers or some liquor, nothing. They threw me in front of a crowd, and ripped off my fucking wings. You should've been there. You should have been there and tell them to keep the fuck away from me." She hisses angrily.

And even then, after she basically yelled at him the one thing that had truly bothered her for all those years, the male in front of her did nothing but stare. Not a single emotion readable from his face this time, his shoulders slack like he didn't even care what she went through.

A small laugh escaped her lips as she shook her head in disbelief and stepped away from him. "I know mom would have." She says before harshly pushing past him, heading back to the little pile of rubbish that was once her home.

Little bit of Azzie in here! From now on I'm gonna be writing from first POV. I wanna try putting more emotions and thought into this story that way.
