Noel's POV

I got back to Smallville and walked into the Mansion. "How do I know for sure you're related to Lex?" I asked. I sat down at my desk and looked at him. "You've got to prove it to me."

"Rachel Dunleavy was my mother," he stated.

"The crazy lady?" I asked. I walked over to my filing cabinet and got out the file. I read it. "You're Lucas Luthor."

"Yeah, so where's my brother at?" Lucas asked. I looked at him. "I'm not sure why they called you."

"Lex died four years ago," I looked at Lucas. "I'm his widow."

"So a woman got all of the Luthor inheritance?"

"Lex left it all for me and his kids," I replied. "I'm sorry, Lucas." He nodded and left. Clark walked in and laid a kid on the couch. "Clark, what did you do?"

"Noel, I really need your help," Clark sighed.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I broke him out of a research facility," Clark stated.

"Didn't you learn something fifteen years ago when you broke Ryan out of Summerholt?"

"This is different, Noel. Lois and I were in the process to adopt Franklin Lee."

"Let me make some calls tomorrow," I nodded. "You can take him to a room or you can keep him here, but I want you here with him." I went to my room. I was up all night with lawyers. I got a temporary guardianship for Clark and Lois. The next morning, Clark had taken Franklin to the farm. "Damn it." I drove to the farm. The sheriff was there with a guy. "Excuse me." I got out of the car. "Franklin doesn't have to go anywhere." I handed the documents to the guy. "I'm going to assume you're the doctor. This is a temporary guardianship that Clark Kent and Lois Lane is keeping Franklin in their care until the situation is resolved."

"Then I'll sue Clark Kent and have him locked up for kidnapping," the doctor stated.

"Go ahead, but I have a team of lawyers with a countersuit ready to go if you do," I looked at him. "It's your move, doctor."

"Who are you?" he asked.

"I'm sorry," I stated as I looked at him. "I'm Noelani Luthor."

"Yeah, that's why," the doctor stated. "Your rich friend may have saved you today, Clark."

"Bye," I smiled. They left. I handed the document to Clark. "It look some time, but I got it done. I can got them to expedite the adoption too, if you'd like."

"Really?" Lois asked.

"Yeah," I nodded.

"How can we trust you?" Clark asked.

"You've known me since I was sixteen," I looked at Clark. "I may have married Lex, but I'm nothing like him."

"I know you changed your mind about me when I made those accusations," Clark sighed. "I promise you I'm not that way."

"Clark, you don't have so explain yourself," I nodded. "I just hope we can go back to the way things were."

"I do too," Clark replied. "It'll take same time."

"Thank you," Lois nodded.

"You're welcome," I replied.

"Maybe you can bring Caden and Tabitha over," Lois nodded. "Franklin needs some friends."

"I'll bring them if I'm not busy," I nodded. "Or Jenna might bring them after school."

"We'll be on the lookout," Lois replied.
