Noel's POV

Caden never talked abaut Allison anymore after that night. I was in my LuthorCorp office looking through the internship applications. Sammy was asleep in his bassinet. Oliver walked in. "When I said light work, I didn't mean I wanted to go through these applications," I stated. I looked at the application in my hands. "Allison Kent applied."

"Does she qualify?" Oliver asked.

"No," I replied. "School just started a month ago and she is point one below the requirements."

"Okay, the. we send her a rejection letter," Oliver shrugged.

"Ollie, it's been six weeks and we still haven't gotten an apology from her, " I looked at him. "I'm very disappointed."

"Noel, we can't control how Allison is raised," Oliver replied. "We can only control how we raise our kids and trust that they'll make the right decisions."

"Of course," I sighed. "You know what,I'll let nature run its course." A week passed. I walked into Watch Tower. "Hey, Chloe."

"If it isn't the famous Noel Queen," Chloe smiled. "What can I do for the birthday girl?"

"I think I'm done celebrating my birthday," I replied. "After three kids, mine just doesn't seem as important. I'd rather keep the kids happy."

"Okay, well, where's Sammy?" Chloe asked.

"At the Kents," I stated. "Uncle Barry is in town."

"That's gotta be fun," Chloe smiled.

"Noel," Clark stated as he walked in with Lois. "Why did you reject Allison from the program?"

"Oliver and I made what decision together," I nodded.

"If you can't t be an adult and put your personal feelings aside, maybe you aren't the best person to choose applicants," Lois stated. "We have apologized over and over again for how Allison treated you in your home. Again, I'm very sorry for everything she had done that night."

"Lois, I got over the fact that I might never get an apology from your daughter. I accepted that," I nodded. "But your daughter's GPA is a three point thirty seven. That's point thirteen below our required GPA for the internship." I looked at Lois. "I would never cheat anyone at of an education or a job. Why would you think I would do something like that?"

"Given your reputation with Lex, I wouldn't be surprised," Lois stated.

"Again with the Lex things," I groaned. "If I have to go back to being a Luthor to show you that I'm nothing like him, I will."

"Maybe you should," Lois looked at me. "Instead of dragging Oliver down with you."

"You know what? You're getting exactly what you asked for. If she doesn't get into the program next year, take it up with Oliver," I stated. I went back home and packed my suitcases. I even packed up my kids' clothes. Caden and Tabitha walled in. "Hey, kids."

"Are you going somewhere?" Tabitha asked.

"We are," I nodded. "We're moving back to Smallville."

"What?" Tabitha asked. "What about school?"

"You can take the chopper to school and for your school activities," I nodded. "It's only a forty five minute flight and your brother will be there for school as well. Also, your father has work there." We went back to Smallville. I left Oliver a note and sent divorce papers the next day. He never signed the papers. Two years passed. Tabitha got her driver's license. Caden walked with a manilla envelope. "What's that?"
