We all watch from the sidelines as Polnareff gives his speech about his Stand, Silver Chariot.

"Old man, this guy is just slowing us down. Can't we just leave him alone here?" Jotaro asks.

"No. Avdol has to defeat him. If we want to ensure we aren't being tracked by another Stand user, we must defeat Polnareff here." Grandpa Joseph tells my brother.

I watch the fight between them. Avdol uses Magicians Red to throw flames at Polnareff who only dodges the attack.

Polnareff tries to use Avdol's Stand against him but Avdol sees straight through his plan. Instead of actually striking Magicians Red, Avdol moves so Polnareff hits the statue he made of the Stand earlier.

"Woah. That's pretty impressive." I say so Polnareff doesn't hear me.

"I agree." Kakyoin says beside me.

We all watch as the fight continues until finally, Polnareff is down.

"Nice one Avdol! Could you teach me a few tricks like that?!" I exclaim.

The Egyptian man laughs and agrees to teach me whenever we have a spare second. But with so many Stand users after us, that might not even be until our trip is over.

As we begin to walk away, we all make small talk but our victory is cut short once a lojd crashing and exploding sound comes from where Polnareff was.

"What the hell?!"

We rush back, seeing Polnareff unharmed.

Avdol goes back to fight him but Polnareff's Stand suddenly turns into multiple.

"There's no way! A Stand user can only have one Stand!" Grandpa Joseph exclaims as we watch in horror as Avdol has no choice but to fight him once more.

"Hey that's cheating asshole!" I shout from the sidelines, summoning Wind Resistance.

"Now, now, ma cherie. This isn't your fight now is it? Now run along to your mommy." Polnareff says and my heart clenches.

Who does this geezer think he is?! Now he's really pissed me off.

But before I can even think about attacking him, Avdol has already taken him down. Polnareff's body is covered in flames as he gives up.

Avdol throws him a knife, giving him the option of an easy way out.

The French man mumbles something about dignity which catches our attention. Avdol clicks his fingers and the flames disappear. But by now, Polnareff is unconscious.

We cautiously walk over to him, staring down at his unconscious state.

"Is he dead?" I ask, kicking him in the side slightly.

"Y/N! Don't kick him!" Grandpa Joseph scolds me once again.

I huff, turning away to come face to face with Kakyoin who is already looking down at me.

Jeez, how close was this guy stood to me?

"I'm sorry he brought up Miss Holly earlier. That must not have been nice for you to hear." Kakyoin says sweetly.

"It's alright. You don't have to apologise. We're gonna find and kill Dio to save my mother. I just know it." I say, hopeful that our crusade is a success.

"Hey Jotaro! Come use Star Platinum to pull it out!" I hear Grandpa Joseph shout.

What? I think I just walked in on the wrong conversation.

Suddenly, Jotaro uses his Stand to pull out another flesh bud from Polnareff's head. Just like we had to do with Kakyoin.

So he's also being controlled by Dio? How many people is he controlling?

"Now we can all be buddies! You get it?" Grandpa Joseph tries to make a joke out of the situation as per usual.

I do feel bad that we have to leave the French man behind. After all, he didn't really want to harm us. But he had no choice.

"I think we should get going. We don't have any time to waste." I start walking away on my own.

Everyone seems a little hesitant but soon follows along behind me.

Polnareff's comment about my mother kind of hit a little too hard. I know he didn't mean it but still, I can't help but feel a pain in my heart.

After a short period of walking, we come across a dock where Grandpa Joseph told us we needed to be. He made a phone call not too long ago for a boat. I assume anyway.

Suddenly, a figure steps out in front of us and I feel myself tense up. From my right side, I see Kakyoin step slightly closer to me.

"Hey I- uh... I'm sorry about what happened before. That truly wasn't me." Polnareff says, rubbing the back or his neck nervously.

"What do you want?" My brother scowls slightly.

"Oh. I realised I never truly thanked you for saving me from Dio's control. But I'm also here to ask quite a bizarre question." He states.

We look around at each other, completely confused as Polnareff asks if Grandpa Joseph has two right hands. How bizarre indeed.

Grandpa Joseph takes off his glove to show his prosthetic mechanical hand. I remember the stories he used to tell me. How he had to defeat the Piller Men. How he used Hamon and his training. I remember him speaking so fondly of his closest friend, Caesar Zeppeli. I wish I could have met him.

Polnareff sighs, seeing that we aren't the enemy. He tells us how he is looking to avenge his sister and kill the man who took her innocence and life.

But then he asks to join us.

"I don't see any reason why not. Besides, you're only gonna follow us anyway."

I sigh, knowing that I'll have to push our differences aside in order to get along on our mission.

The next thing I know is that 2 annoying girls are screeching for Jotaro to take a picture of them. Jeez he still can't get away from those annoying bratty girls who fawn over him.

Polnareff drapes his arms over the girls and takes them towards the sea where he, instead, takes their photos.

"Jeez, it's as if he has two minds. He wasn't acting like that a minute ago." I say and everyone nods.

"I think the mind in his pants has just taken over." My Grandfather laughs slightly.

God this trip just became more interesting.
