Last night drained the life out of me but I force myself to get up and get ready. When I walk back into the room, I see that Kakyoin is also ready, dressed in his school uniform once again.

"Hey Nori... how you feeling?" I ask, wrapping my arms around him.

"I'm alright. Just nervous that's all." He frowns.

I pull him closer to me, running my fingers up and down his back to try and calm him. It seems to work as he relaxes a bit.

"It's okay to be nervous Nori. But remember, I'm coming with you so you don't have to be worried." I smile.

Saying that kind of makes me a hypocrite. I'm also worried that his parents won't like me. When we tell them about the whole trip, they might even stop me from seeing him.

"I know. Maybe I'm just overthinking. You can't blame me though, I did leave for just over 50 days without telling them." Kakyoin forces a laugh to try and lighten the situation.

I plant a soft kiss to his lips before taking his hand. I already told mom that we would be leaving the house today so we walk through the front doors and towards Kakyoin's house.

His hand begins shaking in mine so I give it a reassuring squeeze to let him know that I'm here for him.

About 15 minutes pass until we arrive. His house is small and quaint, everything looks very well kept.

"I'm scared."

I feel my heart ache for Kakyoin as he looks as if he is about to cry.

"I know you are. But you're strong. You're one of the strongest people I know. Hell, you literally faced Dio on alone." I smile at him, placing my hand on his cheek.

"Thanks Y/N." He smiles.

I stand back, watching as he walks nervously towards his front door. He hesitates but soon lifts his fist to knock on the door.

After a few seconds, the door opens revealing a middle aged woman. She has bright red hair just like Kakyoin but the bags under her eyes clearly suggest that she has had a severe lack of sleep.

"Noriaki...? Is- are you...?" She stutters, walking up to the boy.

"Yes. I'm home mom."

Instantly, the woman wraps her arms around her son, crying hard. She calls out for his father who also comes rushing out the house. He sees the interaction and joins the hug.

My heart melts at the sight, a smile making it's way onto my face.

The two of them begin checking Noriaki for any injuries but then they notice the two scars over his eyes.

"Oh my! Noriaki, what happened to your eyes?!" His mother exclaims with a worried expression.

"I'm fine mom. I'll explain everything soon. But there's someone I'd like for you to meet." Nori smiles, looking behind him so that he's looking at me.

By now, both his parents have their eyes focused on me and I begin to feel anxious. Hopefully they don't hate me.

I walk up to Nori as he wraps his arm around me.

"This is Y/N Kujo. My girlfriend." He smiles proudly.

His parents widen their eyes in shock, staring at the both of us in shock. His mom looks back and forth between us until Nori speaks up.

"She saved my life multiple times. Like I said before, we will explain what happened and why I was away. But please don't blame it on her. If it wasn't for Y/N, I probably wouldn't be here." Noriaki smiles.

He looks at me and so do his parents. I feel my body begin to shake from everyone looking at me. I hold my hand out for his mom to shake first, forcing myself to smile.

"H-hey Mrs Kakyoin. It's lovely to meet you." I say with a slight stammer.

She looks at me in shock but doesn't take my hand. However, after a moment she walks forward looking like she is about to shake my hand.

But she doesn't.

Instead, she pulls me into a tight embrace. I feel all my worries dissapear and I begin to relax.

"Thank you. Thank you for saving my boy." She sobs.

I wrap my arms around her with a huge smile. I notice Nori looking at us with a wide smile. The whole situation makes my heart melt knowing that they have accepted me.

"Mom, we should get inside. We have a lot to talk about." Kakyoin smiles, waiting for his mom to let me go.

"Oh of course. Come inside Y/N." His mom smiles, leading me into their beautiful home.

I take off my shoes and jacket, setting them by the door as I enter. Nori's father leads me into the living room and gestures for me to take a seat.

I slightly hear Nori and his mother talking in the hallway. I feel bad for listening but they're not exactly being very quiet.

"She's beautiful Noriaki. Take good care of her okay? I can tell that she's a keeper. Don't let her go." Mrs Kakyoin says.

"I know mom. I love her so much. I think it's impossible for me to let her go. I haven't been this happy in so long." Noriaki says and I can tell he's a blushing mess.

If I wasn't sat in their house right now, I would be running around and screaming in pure joy. Kakyoin really knows how to make my heart race.

I'm just glad that we're finally getting a happy ending.

Or should I say... a happy beginning.

School will be so much different. Speaking of school, we will have to go back in a few days and act like nothing ever happened.

At least Kakyoin will be by my side.
