Eddie was confused, he reread that letter a million times. And still the thought of Luna being off somewhere in some foreign town hurt him. It has been seven months since he heard anything from her. Since she packed up her car and left him a note. He tried to ask Athena for anything but the woman just scolded him. Blamed him for her Stardust leaving. She was coping the only way she knew how to throw herself into her job. Luna texted her every day, she even asked Athena to add her to the group chat without Eddie preferably.

The Inferno Chat

Image attachment: the Image was of Luna in the sun with some sunglasses, she was posed in front of a big blue building there were angel wings painted on it, and she has her arms at her sides and a big smile on her face.

Mercury Stardust " I am soaking up so much sun here in Texas, it's hotter than a jalapeno in a sauna."

Chimney wants the smoke: Angel wings?? You are the opposite of an angel.

Mercury Stardust: "God don't like ugly. Han."

Mother Hen, Nash the Flash, Evil Twin, and Golden Retriever liked this message.

Everyone tucks their phones away just as they enter the firehouse. It was going to be a long shift and with Eddie's constant moping they needed all hands on deck, while he wasnt showing it he was hurt, and he was using his hurt in a way that wasnt good for anyone. This thing with Ana was different, she wanted to be with Eddie so bad that was willing to do whatever he wanted and at first, that was nice it was fun but he was slowly spiraling and maybe it was the constant tossing and turning or the fact that Luna didn't even bother to hide how much fun she was having in her place.

He didn't exactly know where Luna was, she blocked him on everything even email. And it was like the universe didn't want him to find her. His heart still longed for Luna deep down even with all the endless time he was spending with Ana and he had yet to introduce Christopher to the Idea that Luna might not come back into their lives and how could he, it was entirely his fault. How could he do this? He loved Luna genuinely loved her and yet he was sleeping with his kid's Teacher it was a one-time thing or so he thought, one time turned to two, then three, and now here they were, going on dates doing things that couples do, that he did with Luna and suddenly he loves Ana, suddenly she's the only woman he wants. If only that were true, but for now he had a job to do and wherever the hell Luna was he was sure, she was enjoying it.

But still, that letter she left him played back into his mind almost every chance he thought.

Edmundo,

Where do I even start? I have never loved someone as much as  I loved you. I was all for getting married, I wholeheartedly moved in with you, and I took care of Christopher like he was my own. And somehow that wasnt good enough. Somehow I wasn't good enough. Where did we go wrong?
