Luna had been working with these guys for a few months now. She loved their southern hospitality and quick wit. They were in the back of the engine watching a semi-truck drag a car behind him. She would switch shifts. One minute she was a paramedic the next minute she was a firefighter. She liked this being back in the reigns.

" Good Lord almighty," Judd says as They watch sparks come from the small sedan.

"Does he seriously not notice?"

" Can't see it in his mirrors. Probably never even felt the impact."

"Well, he can see us." the other engine comes around the front of the truck causing the semi to stop they get the back window out. As the person in the back climbs out.

Luna was standing off to the side with Blake, and Judd.

"Do you have any idea when they can extract the driver?" Blake says low enough for only the two of them to hear.

" No, I don't, because the front half of this car is stuck under there. It's crushed like a soda can."

"We have to bring her out the same way. I want these back two posts cut. Let's secure the trailer with some cribbing. Paul, Marjan, Mateo, and Luna, get me the jaws, the spreaders, and a K12. Let's go!"

Everyone gets into action and soon Luna finds herself sitting on the hood of the car handing supplies to Paul while helping the medics. She was laying on the hood dangling through the sunroof.

" BP's 81 over 42 and dropping fast."

"She's hemorrhaging," Blake yells as Luna is helping Paul with the spreaders.

"Come on Pink we got this." Luna was holding the spreaders while Paul was still trying to work the ra

"Paul, how much longer?" Captain Strand asks.

" The hydronic ram isn't budging it. I'd say five, ten minutes."

"Heartbeat's 140 and thready," Tim yells from the backseat.

"She needs blood now. Gillian, call West Park Memorial and see how fast they can get a trauma surgeon down here and some whole blood, okay?"  Blake orders as Gillian does as she's told.

" Is Taylor okay?" The driver asks.

" She's okay, honey," Blake replies as the woman nods before passing out. "Oh, stay with me. Can you hear me?"

"Son of a bitch." Luna climbs into the passenger seat.

"Hurry up. We're losing her."

"I'm going as fast as I can," Paul says.

"Switch with me" Luna moves Paul out of the way, "It's time to get old school." she puts the shield down on her helmet and begins kicking at the console while Paul sees her Idea and keeps using the ram.
