Chapter - 4 (Flashback)

Flashback – 6 Years Ago

Zeus has just got everything sorted and the traitor was also identified he will be handled personally by Zeus later. He was coming back from California but someone attacked his car when he was on his way they started shooting and he got a bullet in his stomach. There was an alleyway and he got down there stayed quiet till they had gone. But he was losing too much blood and was getting in and out of consciousness. Before finally getting fully unconscious he saw a shadow hovering over himself and everything went dark.

When he opened his eyes he found himself in a room and was bandage up and didn't know exactly where he was. Suddenly the room door opened and a beautiful lady with brown hair, green eyes, button nose and plump lips, had an hour glass figure walked in with a tray in his hands containing soup bowl, medicine and water. "Who are you?" Zeus asked hoarsely while getting up. " No, don't move your hurt the stitches will come out " her voice was beautiful and Zeus couldn't help but get lost looking in her eyes and listening to her voice. "I asked who are you and where am I ?" Zeus composed himself as he know that this might can be a trap and she can kill him " Oh, I am Irina Carlos. This is my house. I was coming back from my hospital shift and saw you run in that alleyway I know you were hurt from the way you were walking so I got there to check on you to help you but as soon as I saw you, you were unconscious so I took you here." Irina told everything honestly to Zeus.

Zeus wanted to trust her than and there but he also know that how much of façade a person can carry so he just did what he thought was right at that time. He get up from the bed even after the protest of Irina to not get up from the bed he walked to the table where his clothes and thing were neatly kept took out a cheque and handed it to her and dialed a number from his phone and asked them to pick him up. Within few minutes multiple cars where align near Irina home and all men's surrounding the area. " Thank you" was all he said before heading out of the house and inside the car waiting in front of the house. Irina just stand there in the porch looking at the man who just handled her a black cheque and didn't even said his name.

Zeus didn't left California that day he got to his California apartment, took some painkillers and told his sons he might need to stay there for few more days. It has been 9 years since his wife died and since then he hasn't seen any women or been with anyone but this women was not getting out of his mind "Who are you Irina Carlos" with that said he got into deep slumber.

Next day, he got all the details of Irina Carlos ready on his apartment desk. He read all of it Irina's parent died when she was 6 in a car accident then her grandmother took her in she and her grandmother used to live happily in her 1BHK house. Even if it was small it was enough for the two of them. She always wanted to be nurse. When she was 22 her grandmother died leaving her alone. She usually spend most of his days in hospital or an orphanage playing and helping the kids.

Zeus knew now that she's no harm but still this women was not getting out his mind.

Irina was walking back from her hospital shift and she was tired and hungry she just wanted to sleep on her bed after a long tiring day. She entered her house and turn on lights but got scared as soon as she saw that she is not alone in the house. "What are you doing here?" Irina told the person sitting on his sofa he look at her up and down not a creepy way but a way that is making Irina uncomfortable standing in front of him. The person now got up from the sofa and walked towards Irina as he took one step closer Irina took one back till her back is touching the door and him standing in front of her. "Zeus" Zeus said standing close to her looking into her scared eyes. "Huh?" Irina asked. "My name is Zeus" Zeus told her his name Irina couldn't help but blush as the way he was looking at her and the accent was sexy according to her. " What are you doing here Zeus ? What do you want now?" Irina asked as now she was curious and angry after how he treated her before.

Zeus saw that she is furious he knows the reason behind her being angry because he doesn't treated her good after what she had done to him. She only wanted to help him after all. "I-I am sorry about how I treated you earlier but I didn't mean to be rude like that.. Let me make it up to you. How about dinner?" Zeus suggested after apologizing to her to make it up to her after what he did. "No, thank you I already had my dinner – " she didn't even finish her sentence and her stomach grumbled making her look down in embarrassment. Zeus chuckled and slowly lifted her face up by holding her chin between his fingers and slowing hovering his thumb over her beautiful lips " Your saying something but you body is saying something else Irina" Zeus said to her making her look at him.

There was no doubt that they were both attracted to each other or in case of Irina she has fallen at love at first sight after looking at the handsomely attracted man in front of her. He was making her feels things she has ever felt in her entire life but she was sure about one thing that this is man is dangerous. Still she wanted to take the risk and once put her worries and everything aside and have a thing with this man.

Irina pursed her lips together and finally answered him with a 'Yes'. Zeus was happy that she agreed to have dinner with him. He has already ordered Chinese, Indian and Italian because he doesn't know what she might like to have. "You already ordered so many things?" Irina asked being astonished looking at her dinner table in the room. She placed her bag on a chair near by and turn towards Zeus who was already looking at her. She blushed again seeing him looking at her and turn around to go to kitchen to grab plates for them. As she returned from the kitchen she was Zeus was already seated on one of the chair she sat opposite him and started placing the dishes in the plate. She was hungry and the aroma of the dishes making her more hungry. As soon as she taste the Italian dish lasagna she moan unaware of the fact that Zeus was watching her all the time and as soon she moan Zeus has to stop himself from knocking all the dishes down and bending her over the table and fucking her right there but he controlled himself from doing anything. They ate together while talking about few things in between specially about Zeus asking Irina about herself.

After the dinner they both sat on the sofa it was not that big but can fit 3 people easily so there was little distance between them as they had wine in their hands and talked about anything and everything. "I must admit I didn't have such delicious dishes till now" Irina exclaimed and thanked Zeus for the dinner to which Zeus just nodded while observing her. He never got attracted to any women after her wife's death then why is he so intrigued with this women. They both were intoxicated under wine when Zeus admire the beauty sitting next to her. He shake his head and stood up from the sofa Irina watch him standing and saw the time it was already past 12 she stood up too abruptly but lost balance but strong arms grabbed her before she could fall.

Zeus and Irina faces were inches apart one move and they could kiss each other. Irina saw his eyes and his lips same with Zeus. Irina finally got the courage and kiss him, Zeus didn't respond to the kiss Irina slowly started pulling back after seeing no response from Zeus. Zeus finally responded to kiss after few seconds and pulled to more closer to her they kissed each other as there is no tomorrow. They got to the bedroom and let just say they have a great time with each other.

Zeus left early morning he was guilty that he had sex with someone else other than his wife even though his wife was dead he still loved him still he slept with another women. With a heavy heart he left Irina on the bed unknown to the fact that they both forget to used protection.

Irina woke up and saw that Zeus is nowhere to be seen. She knows that this is going to happen but still she took that risk and give herself to such a man she has just known for few hours. She doesn't even know his last name Zeus make sure not to talk much about himself they only talked about her. She sighs and woke up from bed and start her daily routine unknown to the fact that this night is going to change her life forever.
