Fitz POV

Fitz touched his lips as Biana pounded him for details. He couldn't believe he kissed Sophie, let alone that she liked him back. Biana followed him into his bedroom and sat down on his bed.

"I'm not leaving until you tell me what's going on with you and Sophie." she whined annoyingly, wiggling her eyebrows.

"Oh my god Biana! How many times do I have to tell you, nothing is going on!"

"Come on big brother! You KISSED HER!" she dissolved into squeals.

"Do you promise you'll leave if I tell you?" Fitz said tiredly.

"If you tell me the whole story, then yes," she replied promptly.

"How would you know the whole story?" he questioned.

"I have a sixth sense for romance," she said as she giggled proudly.

"Fine. As you know, I.. I like Sophie. As more than friends and cognates-"

Fitz was interrupted by Biana rolling her eyes, and exclaiming "Everyone knows you like her!"

"Do you want to hear the story or not?!" he retorted. 

"YES." she whined, even more desperate than before.

"I'm giving you one more chance. Don't interrupt again!", and Biana nodded vigorously.

"Okay. I like Sophie, and today I...I decided to tell her. We went to Havenfield, and sat under Calla's tree. And I told her to tell me her secret and I would share mine. We both said 'I like you' at the same time."

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! YOU TWO ARE MY OTP!" mine too Biana <3

Fitz blushed as red as a tomato. "What is a OTP? Actually, I don't even want to know."

"Good, because that is the secret language of fangirls!", she said, giggling. "But what about the kiss?",  she asked, suddenly, turning serious.

"Well, I just wanted to say bye, and we like each other......" he trailed off, embarrassed, and his cheeks flushing crimson.

"And you didn't want to take things too fast, by kissing her on the lips, and scaring her off?" Biana finished perfectly.

Fitz was speechless. "Exactly."

"When's your first date? Can I pick out what you're wearing? I'll ask Sophie when I should come over and do her makeup! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" 

And that was when Fitz realized that he had a long day ahead of him

Sophie POV

Sophie fell on her bed on her back, with a goofy smile, and a smitten heart. She couldn't believe that the Fitz Vacker, kissed her, Sophie Elizabeth Foster! Sure it was just a kiss on the cheek, but still.

Someone knocked on the door, and Sophie responded "Come on in!"

Edaline made her way inside, and Sophie smiled at her. 

"So, Sophie you haven't told me much about your hangout. Any interesting news?" she said, wiggling her eyebrows, making Sophie blush. Edaline gasped. "Any news about.... boys?" she whispered knowingly. 

"Yes," she answered, turning crimson.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! Is it Fitz?!"

"Yes," she answered, covering her face with her hands.

"EEEEEEEEEEE! I ALWAYS KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME! Della owes me 75 lusters! Ugh, I owe Grady 30 lusters. Ugh, and I owe Alden 50 lusters!"

"Wait...you guys were...betting on us?" she asked, peeking out from her fingers.

"HA! Of course we were! You guys were wayyy too oblivious for us not to! So, are you dating?"

"No, not officially," she said, covering her face again.

"Oh my gnome." Edaline muttered. "Now I owe Juline 35 lusters. Wait..... did Fitz kiss you?"

"Yes.....on the cheek." she whispered, embarrassed, not of Fitz, but of this conversation.

"EEEEEEEEEEE! OH NO! Now I owe Biana 150 lusters!", but she was interupted by a masculine voice snarling "Who did you kiss???!!!!"

"Grady, relax. Just on the cheek, with Fitz!" 

"I'll be having a talk with the Vacker boy." Grady growled.

"Be nice to him, Grady. Please don't kill him."

"I won't promise anything," he said, half-joking, half-serious.

Then Edaline announced she was going to start making supper, and Grady went to help her, and Sophie was left to her thought, about a special, teal-eyed boy.

As if on command, Sophie's imparter buzzed with a message from Fitz. What the message said made her heart explode with joy.

Will you go on a date with me on Saturday?

Sophie texted back right away, as she knew her answer in a heartbeat.

I would love to.
