Lovin' You Is Easy (A Sophitz Story)

Part 11

Sophie was broken. No one could fix her. She was trapped in the cave, the darkness swallowing her hope of escaping.

Sophie? 

Silence. 

Sophie?

Silence. She couldn't. Couldn't let him break. Couldn't let him get his hopes up that she was coming back.

Sophie, I know you're there. 

Sophie ignored him. 

Sophie...look. I don't know what I did, but please tell me. Trust me, I didn't mean to hurt you. I don't know much about dating but I know that we can work through it together. We just need to talk this out.  

Sophie was about to respond when she sensed someone behind her in a hood. They were holding  a massive melder, ready to attack her. But they weren't aimed at her, they were aimed at some shadows in the corner. A quick punch from behind knocked the hooded figure and a perfectly manicured hand reached for the ropes across Sophie's abdomen. She held out a massive dagger and sliced the ropes in one clean motion. 

"The makeup wore off?" Biana joked wearily as Sophie placed her face to the name. "You look awful. We need to get out of here. Fitz... well, he's not exactly doing well.. per se." 

"What do you mean?" Sophie asked worriedly. 

Dex materialised out of the corner along with Keefe, Tam, and Linh. What they said in unison shook Sophie's mental state vigorously,

"His mind broke. The guilt got to him."

Sophie felt her eyes glisten with tears as she took a running start into the nearby cliffs where she teleported to the healing centre.  

Elwin gasped as she came into his vision. 

"What happened?!" 

"I..was.....kidnapped." she said feeling faint.

"I can already tell you will need a three day detox, just from looking. You'll have to stay for at least 5 days." Elwin said through the spectacles. 

"No, I can't! Fitz!", she managed to mutter before she collapsed. 

That night Sophie couldn't sleep. Elwin has made her start the detox the next day. She already felt a lot better. She could walk. She could teleport. She could use telepathy and inflicting. She was ready to go to Everglen.
