"Don't scare me like that ever again." Tobias muttered, making his way towards me for a heart-warming embrace.

Everyone else had gone back to their own rooms, giving Tobias and I some spare time together.

It seems like Tobias always makes use of the time he gets whenever he has a chance to be with me. This must be his way of apologizing, nonetheless, I'm his sibling, anyway.

I giggled, "You can let go now." Pretending like he didn't hear me, he hugged me tighter.

I embrace him, putting my chin on his shoulder. "I didn't know you cared about me that much."

I feel his deep breathing as he says, "You're the only family I have left."

I swallow deeply and closed my eyes. It was as if he could see through me, we only have each other to take care of now.

"I told you-" I hear Olan say to Christine as I made my way towards my bed, plopping down on it. "Told me what?" She snaps.

"We got punished." I stated, looking over to Olan who had a smug look plastered onto his face.

"How do you think we're going to be punished?" Eddie asked, his elbows on his knees with clasped hands.

"I have no idea," Uriah laughed, "Eric said we will be punished. Eric said that. Whatever he's up to, I damn well know it's not going to be good."

We all nodded in agreement and decided to go back to the game we were playing, only exception was to avoid dares like that.

After a few rounds, it was already Eddie's turn. "Okay Eddie, Dauntless or Candor?"

"Candor!" He says cheerfully. Surprisingly, no one had decided to yell "pansycake!" once more; guess it was getting old.

I beamed, this was my chance. "Okay, tell me. Do you have, by any chances, have an interest on Christine?" I ask, watching Christine carefully in the corner of my eye. I notice her cheeks flush, I know she adores Eddie, she never really wanted to admit that. Now, I want to know if Eddie feels the same way.

It took a while for Eddie to answer. But when he did, he nods with an embarrassed expression creeping up his face afterwards. I immediately turned to Christine, who had a shocked expression.

Unexpectedly, Christine stands up; all eyes on her. She hesitantly made her way to Eddie, roughly grabbing his hand, making him stand up. As soon as he stood up, Christine places her lips on Eddie's gently; earning a gasp from Uriah. I gave him a look and a nudge on the arm.

I grinned at them as Christine sat beside Eddie until the end of the game, with their hands held together, and Christine's head resting at Eddie's shoulder.

Well, I thought. That escalated quickly. -romantic, but quick.

"Okay, so you done now?" Uriah interrupted, clearing his throat awkwardly. I chuckle at this.

We move on as Eddie turns the bottle, making it land on Olan's direction. "Okay, Olan. Dauntless or Candor?" Eddie asks. "Dauntless!" he says.

Just like me, Eddie smirks afterwards. I raised my brow.

"If you love Dauntless so much," Eddie says, a mischevious glint in his milky brown eyes. "I dare you to answer the same question Mel gave me... To Mel, herself." Eddie says, leaning back with crossed arms, feeling as if he accomplished something.

I roll my eyes at Eddie's behavior, but I was eager to listen to Olan's answer. I looked over at him, who had his lips pressed together in a fine line.

The boy was uncomfortable, I sent Eddie a furrowed brow, "why would you think that?" I ask.

He gives me a smirk as response. I rolled my eyes once again. Uriah drinks his soda with his brows raised; he seemed to be just as curious as I was.

Olan looks at Eddie and proudly says, "Yes."

Uriah chokes on his drink, "what?" He asks with a cough.

"Yes!" Olan admits, raising his hands then dropping it lazily on his thighs. "I like you, okay?"

I tensed up, knowing exactly what he was planning on doing when he started approaching me. He bends over, inching his face closer to me.

So much thoughts rushed through my head at once until I couldn't think straight anymore. I didn't know how to act, so I stayed that way, letting things go with the flow.

Before I even knew it, I feel his skin collide with my own. I feel a rush of excitement fill my body, but I didn't kiss back, no, it somehow felt wrong.

After that small dilemma, I watch as everyone in the circle look away.

Well, this is awkward.

Olan sits beside me as I shuffle uncomfortably with the rush of thoughts still in my head, How did I not see this coming? Since when did Olan started liking me? Do I like him back? Why didn't I decide to kiss back?

No, I stop myself from overthinking, I need time to think all this through, so I could talk to Olan all about this.

When everyone decided it was time to stop, Eddie spoke up, "Y'know what'll cheer us up from that punishment gave us?" Everyone shifts their gazes at at him as he continued, "we still haven't gone to the tattoo parlor, and to the party everyone will be attending tonight."

Everyone nodded in agreement, and just like that, we started getting ready without hesitation.

Tonight, I decided to show a little bit of skin and wore a strapless black dress.

Christine looks down at me, "Girl, you look hot!" I laugh, "Thanks, you look nice too."

Turning around to wear my usual shoes, I notice Olan intense gaze on the corner of my eye. I choose to ignore this as I start shoving my foot in my shoe, his gaze burning the side of my neck.

Eddie interrupts the silence, "Let's rock this party!"
