Hi everyone, thank you so much for waiting for the update. It has honestly been a really hard past month for me, and I'm just trying to bounce back and do my thing. Sue sat at her desk that Emily recently built her in the corner of the living room. She had been editing her photographs on her laptop since staying at her apartment, but she had recently brought her desktop over from the apartment she used to share with Jay and needed a place to put it.

It was to Sue's surprise one day after arriving back from the grocery store that Emily even went out of her way to buy her a desk in the first place—but by the time she was back, it was already built and her desktop, keyboard and mouse were already set up, too. Sue smiled at the thought of it all... at the thought of Emily. Things between them were really starting to get romantic and never in a million years did Sue ever think she'd feel like this for Emily.

Nearly a month had passed since their first hook up and since then, they've gotten hot and heavy on a couple different occasions. But Sue was still very timid.

Flashback

Emily had turned on a show for them to watch on Netflix one night after a long day of going out and about in Boston. The girls hit a couple of thrift shops and met up with Vinnie and Jane for a late lunch. After lunch the four of them decided to go for a walk along the Charles River because it was an unusually warm winter day.

When Emily and Sue arrived back at the apartment, they quickly got into their comfy clothes and got cozy on the couch together. She covered the both of them in a fuzzy fleece blanket before scrolling through the list of movies and shows on Netflix.

"You wanna watch New Girl?" Emily asked, shrugging her shoulders.

Sue nodded and shrugged back, "Sure, why not? I've never really watched the show in full—only some episodes here and there."

"Me too." Emily said, smiling as she clicked on the icon of the show.

They got through the first few episodes before Emily attempted to make a move. Sue had been cozying up to her and leaning her head on her shoulder while Emily wrapped her arm around Sue. The both of them sat there nervously. Emily usually wasn't shy, but being this way with Sue made the nerves take over her. Sue, of course, was nervous. She was more timid than Emily ever was and that didn't change in this situation.

The intro to the fourth episode started and Emily started running her fingers slowly up and down Sue's upper arm. Sue's breath hitched for a moment as the lightness of Emily's fingers tickled her skin. She was nervous and Emily could tell—a smirk creeping up on her face as she felt Sue's skin form goosebumps.

"Susie?" Emily whispered, looking down at her on her shoulder.

Sue hesitated for a moment, still trying to steady her breath, "Y—yeah?"

She was about to look up at Emily as she could feel her staring down at her, but Emily took her chin and tilted her head up for her. She bit her lip and stared down at Sue's, "Can I have a kiss?"

Sue smiled, nodding as they both leaned in and pressed their lips together. Their lips stayed pressed together for a moment before they both barely pulled away. They let their lips linger as they both glanced up and down between each other's eyes and mouth.
